Tiger Leaping Gorge is one of the deepest gorges in the world, stretching approximately 23 kilometers and divided into three sections: Upper, Middle, and Lower Tiger Leaping Gorge. It is renowned for its “险” (险 = steepness and danger). The river rushes through the steep canyons, with the narrowest part of the river surface only about 20 meters wide. The Tiger Leaping Rock in the center of the river splits the rapids like a sharp sword, with waves crashing against the shore and spray flying. The hiking route has been rated as one of the “Top Ten Classic Hiking Routes in China” by Chinese National Geography. Along the way, you can experience the magnificence of the canyon and the磅礴气势 (磅礴气势 = grandeur) of the river, as well as admire unique landscapes such as snow-capped mountains, bizarre rocks, and deep pools.
Haba Snow Mountain faces Jade Dragon Snow Mountain across Tiger Leaping Gorge. The main peak is 5396 meters above sea level and is the only 5000-meter snow mountain in Yunnan Province that is allowed to be climbed. The summit is covered with snow all year round and has a typical alpine vertical band spectrum landscape. From the foot of the mountain to the summit, subtropical, temperate, and cold-temperate vegetation are distributed in turn. From April to June, azaleas bloom all over the mountains; from September to December, the weather is clear and suitable for mountaineering and exploration. Here, there are not only magnificent snow-capped mountains, but also alpine meadows, virgin forests, and glacial lakes, making it a paradise for outdoor enthusiasts.
Xiaozhongdian, as a plateau pasture坝区 (坝区 = basin area), has scenery in all seasons. In spring and summer, it is a sea of flowers, withGesang flowers, wolfsbane flowers, azaleas, and other flowers blooming in turn. The colorful flowers all over the mountains and plains are in contrast with the flocks of cattle, sheep, and horses, forming a beautiful高原 (高原 = plateau) pastoral painting. In autumn and winter, the grassland turns golden, showing a different kind of desolate and magnificent view under the blue sky and white clouds. It is also an excellent place to photograph the stars.
Dukezong Old Town is the best-preserved and largest Tibetan residential cluster in China, and also an important hub on the Ancient Tea Horse Road. The ancient city has a history of more than 1300 years and its Tibetan meaning is "Moonlight City." The architectural layout is centered on Dagui Mountain and is in the shape of an "eight-petal lotus." The stone roads meander and crisscross. Here is the world's largest prayer wheel, 21 meters high and weighing 60 tons, which requires multiple people to turn it together.
Napa Sea is a provincial nature reserve and a complex ecosystem of高原 (高原 = plateau) seasonal lakes and swamp meadow. In the dry season, the Yila Prairie is vast and boundless, with lush water and grass. Herds of yaks and Tibetan sheep graze leisurely, and the牧民 (牧民 = herdsmen)'s tents are scattered. When the rainy season comes, the lake water rises and most of the grassland is submerged, forming a sparkling lake that reflects the distant snow-capped mountains, blue sky, and white clouds.

Tiger Leaping Gorge is a world-renowned gorge and one of the deepest gorges in China, known for its "险" (险 - xiǎn, perilousness) throughout the world.

Tiger Leaping Gorge is 23 kilometers long, with the narrowest part of the river only about 20 meters wide. The relative height of the valley shoulders is 1600-1700 meters, with a large drop in water level, making the river turbulent and surging.

Haba Snow Mountain – "Haba" is a Naxi word meaning golden flower.

Haba Snow Mountain has a maximum elevation of 5,396 meters, with year-round snow cover on its summit. The lowest river surface elevation is 1,550 meters, resulting in a relative elevation difference of 3,846 meters.

The experience was wonderful, we loved it. The driver was very friendly and attentive, always making an effort to point things out to us. The route was very complete, we saw many places, stopped to take photos and see the beauty of these lands. We were given a typical dish from this Tibetan area to eat, a complete hot pot, with its meat and vegetables. During the meal we watched a local dance and song performance. I recommend this tour.

It was my worst ever tour through Klook. Guide was not helpful at all and he was just a driver. After the tour, he dumped us at nowhere in Lijiang with the excuse of traffic jam. Time distribution for each destination was very bad. Guide dropped us some place which took 20 minutes to Shangril-Ra old castle one way and should come back in one hour. I don't recommend this tour at all.
