- "Profound Cultural Heritage": "A Thousand Times in the Western Regions" takes the ancient Silk Road as its main thread, divided into six chapters: "Great Love", "Jade Soul", "Dream Back", "Life", "Passion", and "Love of the Grassland". It vividly recounts the legends of the thirty-six kingdoms of the Western Regions, the folk songs and dances of multiple ethnic groups, and the grand epic of Silk Road merchants. Hand drums tremble, dutars sing melodiously, the passion of horse racing and sheep snatching blends into the dance steps, and the melodies of the Twelve Muqams flow through the folds of the costumes, recreating the magnificent scene of "diverse yet unified" cultural integration on the Silk Road.
- "Stunning Stage Effects": Utilizing advanced optoelectronic integrated control panoramic multi-channel technology, paired with a 270° LED large screen and a 3600 square meter indoor LED display screen, it creates realistic and dazzling visual effects. The stage is equipped with high-end special effects, such as full-color laser arrays, digital water, shimmering jumping fountains, etc., combined with over 40 scene changes and thousands of devices linked to the stage, truly restoring the unique landscapes of the Western Regions and providing an immersive experience for the audience.
- "Amazing Performance Forms": It brings together diverse performance forms such as song and dance, acrobatics, martial arts, instrumental music, horse riding, and eagle flying. A strong lineup of about 200 domestic theater ethnic actors and international dancers, each showcasing their strengths, integrates different styles and characteristics into the performance.
- "Exquisite Costumes and Props": Over 2000 sets of ethnic costumes are meticulously crafted, from fabrics to embroidery and accessories, everywhere showcasing ethnic characteristics and cultural connotations, perfectly presenting the beauty of the costumes of the ethnic groups of the Western Regions. The stage also meticulously recreates physical scenes such as Mount Muztagh Ata, the beautiful jade of Kunlun Mountain, and the ancient kingdom of Loulan, bringing historical scenes to life, enhancing the sense of presence and artistic value.
- "Unique Interactive Experience": Xuanzang's journey to the West, spirited horses, etc., will walk among the audience, and the stage extends to the viewing area, bringing the audience closer to the performance, enhancing participation, and making the audience feel as if they are in the historical scenes of the ancient Silk Road.
- Performance content: Act 1 "Great Love" to Act 2 "Jade Soul" to Act 3 "Dream Back" to Act 4 "Life" to Act 5 "Passion" to Act 6 "Love of the Grassland"; the performance order is for reference only, and the actual performance order on the day shall prevail.
- The Xinjiang Grand Theater is a theater with the culture of the Silk Road as its theme, with a total investment of 2.2 billion yuan. The entire building is designed with the concept of "blooming Tianshan snow lotus", creating a dome shape with layers of petals and stamens; 56 flame gates surround the theater, representing the beautiful meaning of the great unity and common prosperity and development of our 56 ethnic groups, and also symbolizing the Xinjiang people's fiery enthusiasm in welcoming guests from all over the world.
- The interior decoration of the theater is rich in Xinjiang's regional cultural characteristics. It adopts a variety of traditional handicrafts, unique wood carvings, exquisite and gorgeous mother-of-pearl inlays, and vivid colorful paintings. Decorative materials are sourced globally, including fantastic Bolivian marble and iceberg white jade, making the entire theater magnificent and dazzling. The 41-meter-high dome hall is composed of 9 small domes, interpreting the "meaning of the nine heavens" in ethnic culture.
- The theater can accommodate 2000 spectators. The largest indoor performance stage of 4000 square meters is surrounded by a large three-dimensional opening and closing LED giant screen of about 3000 square meters, equipped with international first-class advanced sound, light, electricity, fireworks, water curtain and other large mechanical stage devices, using today's most advanced digital simulation imaging, holographic imaging and three-dimensional projection technology, and installed 36 three-dimensional real scenes.
- It is currently the grand theater with the strongest stage artistic expression and highest technological content in the world. It has been listed as a key project of the cultural tourism industry during the "Twelfth Five-Year Plan" period by the autonomous region. It has not only become the city's reception hall for Xinjiang to welcome guests from all over the world, but also a base for the excavation and display of Xinjiang's multi-ethnic customs and song and dance culture.
