Tokyo Meguro River Cherry Blossom Viewing Cruise

We enjoyed this cruise, it was awful rainy evening but we were under cover and still able to view the Cherry Blossom. The crew were lovely and there was just 8 guests on board. you definitely don’t get as much out of it on the night cruise, I think seeing the blossoms on the day cruise would be better. But they were illuminated in places, which was really pretty. Thought the included drink serving was on the stingy side, half a champagne glass of champagne and even the extra one we bought wasn’t full and cost ¥2000 each glass.

a great experience as it did not rain yesterday and we can enjoy. will be better next week when the flowers are in full bloom.

It was amazing! We did the afternoon one. There weren’t many other passengers so felt like a private boat cruise. The boat was very fancy, the sakura were in full blossom. Made for one of my top memories!

I was fortunate enough to book this cruise on its last day. Although the cherry blossom season had passed, I still got to see a few blossoms that hadn't fallen yet, which was really nice.

I originally booked for 5pm, but after I paid they said they were fully booked. They offered to reschedule me to 8pm. I accepted because I thought the cherry blossoms will be lit up at night from the photos. But apparently only a few trees were lit up. Most were dark, so the cruise was boring since you can barely see the trees. This tour is not recommended at night. Better to do it in the daytime.
