Sauna was clean and nice. The body scrub was so worth it! Felt like all my dead skin were removed! If it weren't for one ahjumma guest that's talking so loud we could have been able to take a very good rest before our flight. Jjimjilbang is a very relaxing way to distress.
It was the most special experience I had in Seoul. Loved the ease of checking in and the overall space was very good for relaxing my aching muscles. Highly recommended experience!
The location is on the Q3 floor. Take the elevator up and there is an electronic redemption machine. Scan the QR code and take it to the counter to enter. If you choose the bath scrubbing service, remember to find Azhu Ma before stripping naked to enter. He will ask you to lie on a beauty bed without taking a shower first, and then start to scrub mud for you. There is really a lot of mud, as if you have never taken a bath. It is worth it! After washing and changing into the clothes provided, you can go to the 12th floor to eat and lie down in the compartments to rest. It is a very special experience and highly recommended!
Very suitable for just getting off the plane to experience! You can come here directly to eat, there are freshly cooked meals as well as instant noodles/drinks/ice cream/salt-baked eggs, which are quite affordable. If you want to eat at the restaurant, there is a busy market across the street downstairs (I found the cheapest egg cake and coin cinnamon cake in Seoul here)! The building of the sauna is also right next to a street of stationery and toys, so there is something for children to do there. The only thing to note is that there are two branches, "Dongdaemun branch on B1" and "Dongmyo branch on 13F". This is the Dongmyo branch, and the MRT stations you get off at are different, so don't go to the wrong one! The distance is about 1km
Luggages are secured in a locker with password. Thankful that the sauna has this so we can drop by the jjimjilbang before our flight.
It was a great experience for us! I've been wanting to try this since I saw it KDrama shows. We tried everything!
This is my first experience in Korean jjimjilbang. I am very happy to have chosen this one. The environment is clean and spacious, well-equipped and has personal privacy. The luggage storage box is large and I can safely enjoy the equipment inside. I'm very happy that because the flight was a red-eye flight, I chose not to stay in a hotel to experience this unique Korean culture.
Located near Dongdaemun Station on Subway Line 4 and Dongmyo Station on Subway Line 9, on the 13th floor of the building, with a rest area on the 12th floor. The whole area is very large, and there is also a hot food section where you can order food on the computer and pay by credit card. The whole process shows that Koreans love to take a sauna in their daily life~
The Dongmyo location is clean, but the full body scrub package doesn't include shampoo or a bath towel, which is inconvenient as you have to pay extra. It would be best to clarify this or include it all! You have to reserve sleeping spaces in advance... Overall, it's okay.
Sauna is clean and nice. It was a good jjimjilbang experience.
