Reviews
The Japanese tea ceremony was such a serene and unforgettable experience. The setting was authentic, easy to reach, and the hosts were graceful, kind, and very accommodating. A truly meaningful glimpse into Japanese tradition. 🇯🇵✨
My host was with Sayuri-san for the English session. She was incredibly kind, patience, courteous, thoughtful and knowlegeable. I enjoyed her humour during the tea ceremony. I also appreciate the rest of the staff as well as they were also kind ans helped me dress in a kimono. The staff was very kind taking many photos for me and for other guests. It was very nice to wear my kimono out around town after the ceremony (as long you return before 6pm). I definitely would love to come back again with my partner!
This experience was so fun. You get to dress up with real kimono..someone will help dress you up in the many layers. They also help you do up your hair and you get to choose your hair accessories to match your kimono. After that we get to learn and experience the tea ceremony. We also took many pictures there. The pple there are so experience .. they will guide you to pose and take candid picture. overall it was a fun experience. plus some zen mode during the tea ceremony. The gal who taught us was so pretty and kawaii too. She is so gentle. Highly recommended.
Overall, it was a really nice experience. We were able to learn a little about the history of the tea ceremony and how it came about. They were very organized when it came to helping everyone get dressed in the kimonos, and there were plenty of photo opportunities afterward to take pictures in your kimono. The setting itself was beautiful and truly gave the feeling of being in a traditional tea ceremony room.
Superb activity, we were carefully and tastefully prepared, the tea ceremony is exceptional.
An amazing experience if you are into aesthetic and taking beautiful photos. The service and the experience itself was truly incredible, you get to pick your own kimono and also get to make your own matcha.
The tea ceremony was an unforgettable experience and one of the highlights of our trip. Everything was very interesting and beautifully arranged. Wakana showed us how to prepare matcha in the traditional way. She was very knowledgeable, fun and extremely kind, and we felt comfortable the entire time. The atmosphere was wonderful, and the many photo spots were perfect for capturing special memories. There was a great selection of beautiful kimonos, so everyone could find one they loved. Hana styled my hair so beautifully and was so kind. I have never had such an amazing hairstyle in my life — it truly made the experience even more memorable. We had a great time and would highly recommend this once in a lifetime experience to everyone.
Great experience. I went in with a bit of apprehension, but everything was superb. The staff is lovely and very attentive. The selection of kimonos is excellent. In addition to getting dressed (which is a bit quick - the only minor flaw), your hair is styled, and you're photographed many times during the activity and in various settings. The tea ceremony is very calming and a touch humorous. I want to emphasize that the activity is very focused on listening to the customer and their comfort, not at all "industrialized" like in other "kimono rental" places. I highly recommend it.
One of the best tours we've ever done. The clothing you wear is very beautiful, and the tea ceremony is absolutely lovely.
the staff were all super welcoming and efficient! they did my hair magnificently and the actual tea ceremony was very peaceful. they gave us some time in the kimono do take a few pictures around their building. there is a small garden area and a rooftop garden too! I went alone, but the staff were happy to take pictures too!
