Thoroughly enjoyed myself in this two hour journey, up through the old town and back down again. Lovely being able to see stilt houses and waterway living. If you’d like something relaxing (albeit hot — they do give you a bottle of water) do this!
Our guide was fantastic!!!! He was incredibly knowledgeable, not only about the buildings and canals, but also the history and culture of the area. For example, he spoke about Thai language and various key moments in Thai history. We highly recommend the trip, and make sure to wear sunscreen!

we did not enjoy the experience. it was to long to noisy. a bit overpriced. guide was hard to hear from back of boat
