We'll begin our karst landscape exploration at 9:00 AM, departing from your hotel in Guilin's city center. Our first stop is Elephant Trunk Hill, where you can admire the iconic symbol of Guilin City in the morning light. Stroll through Water Moon Cave, observing the reflection of the elephant's trunk in the Li River, and ascend Puxian Pagoda for a panoramic view of the Two Rivers and Four Lakes.
Afterward, we'll visit Fubo Hill, exploring the historical imprints of General Fubo from the Han Dynasty. Wander through the cliffside carvings of Huanzhu Cave, listen to the ancient legends of the Sword Testing Rock, and ascend to the viewing platform to overlook the picturesque landscape where the Li River meets the city.
Next, we will head to Reed Flute Cave, known as the "State Guest Cave," for a visual feast in this cool, underground palace. Under the colorful lights, the stalactites in various shapes create a dazzling crystal palace, with natural wonders like Lion Peak at Sunrise showcasing the marvelous craftsmanship of nature.
Around 1:00 PM, we will return you to your hotel in the city center. In this half-day, compact itinerary, you will have experienced the essence of Guilin's "green mountains, clear waters, and unique caves" – from the poetic landmarks along the Li River to the hidden historical stories within the city, and the geological wonders within the karst cave. Enjoy the charm of Guilin's landscape in one go.
