What to expect
-It is a 10-minute by train from JR Nara station and another 20-mimute walk to the rental place (Waikaru) -You can rent these bicycles very close to the World Heritage Site Horyu-ji Temple! -There are recommended cycling routes for spring and autumn!

- A deposit of 2,000 yen is required at the time of rental. The deposit will be refunded when it's returned.
- Rental helmets are available free of charge
- Please choose a bicycle according to your height.
- It takes about 1 hour one way from Waikaru to Nara Park.
- Additional charge may apply if you rent for more than 2 hours, please pay the difference at Waikaru onsite [Rental fee (E-bike)] 2 hours 3,000 yen／3 hours 4,000 yen／1day 5,000 yen ※If you wish to rent more, please pay the difference on-site.

Leaving a bad review would be unfair as we chose not to hire the bikes in the end. our intention was to arrive at the station, pick up the bikes and cycle around Nara park. we then realised it would take 30 mins by car to get to the bike collection point and cycling in the park is not permitted. maybe bad planning on my part but Nara park is the main attraction so it might be fair to put a note on the sight warning of this as the photo is perhaps a little misleading.
