What to expect

Daily boat trips to two main destinations: Koh Rang National Park or the HTMS Chang wreck with local coral sites.

Koh Rang (back ~5pm): departure from Bang Bao pier after 9am. Two dives on coral reefs, lunch break on a beach or coral island with snorkeling, third dive available on request.
HTMS Chang & local sites (back ~4pm): same departure time, 2–3 dives between the wreck and coral sites, lunch served on board. The wreck is also great for snorkeling when the sea is calm. Boats accommodate both divers and snorkelers, making them ideal for families and mixed groups. On busy days, two boats run in parallel, each heading to a different area.

Destination preferences are typically coordinated post-booking.

The visibility was not very good, and my dive buddy didn't keep up. The dive guide wasn't paying attention to the group's movements, and I got lost underwater. Luckily, nothing dangerous happened. All three dives were shallow, within 10 meters, not very clear, and there wasn't much to see.

Seeing the shipwreck was not included in the tour from the beginning. It's no exaggeration to say I came to Koh Chang specifically to see the shipwreck. It's a shame because the guides and staff were very good. If you want to see the shipwreck, it's best to go to the local port and book a boat there.
