Solo stay

The property’s location is very convenient, really close to a BTS station. Their breakfast buffet is great and the pool allows a great break from the heat! The room is comfortable and I loved the bath room: yeah, tub and shower are are as good as a small studio back home!

We were on the 37th Floor which came with Club benefits which we enjoyed tremendpysly. It was well worth the additional charge!

Housekeeping, spa services, doorman, and concierge were wonderful. Starbucks was great! There was too much pressure on opting in for buffet at every single meal versus à la cart when dining. Meals took longer when ordering à la cart. Prices varied daily with the same substitutions and the chefs cook/prep differently. Pricing is more western based than aligning with Thai Bhat. It varied throughout the hotel for the same dish. For the amount that I ended up spending at the hotel (including the inflated exchange rate), it would’ve been nice to have my Marriott account awarded as they had the number and the front desk removed it. Having to have my key fixed every day for a week and sometimes multiple times per day was incredibly annoying. Having to ask and wait for towels was frustrating as well. My rating is based on the operational and pricing models and consistency of food and customer service among the other staff.

The facility was beautiful, especially the views. The staff were very helpful, making extra effort to place my group in adjacent rooms, helping with our luggage, adjusting the room tv settings, and providing directions around the area. The location was very convenient to the BTS train. It was a lovely way to wrap up our stay in Thailand!
