The room was an adequate size. Human staff available easily when needed. Room was clean but dated. Robot in room didn’t work. Very convenient location.

Clean room, great stay. Only caveat was the sink being inside the bedroom near the beds. Though it’s common for Japanese hotels to have the sink outside, it was unusual that it was not near the toilet room.

The dinosaur reception staff were definitely the highlight of the trip. Rooms are small which is to be expected but were very clean with opening windows.

Henn na Hotel is located in a very convenient area walking distance from dotonbori where there is many food and shopping options. The check in and check out process is super efficient and the room was decently sized. However I have to give this three stars because the pillows at this hotel was just unacceptable. It was lumpy and this made it hard to sleep. Similarly, the bed was very thin and the comforter was more like a blanket. This affected my quality of sleep throughout my stay at Henn Na.

Love that it was so centrally located. The fact that we didn’t have any front desk person allowed us to move at our pace. The dinosaurs who greeted us was hilarious and a very cool touch. The rooms were small, but they were clean and functional. Perfect for budget travel
