Our tour guide, Alicia, was very understanding and considerate of those who couldn’t walk fast. The whole trip was easy and hassle-free. We were even able to order our lunch through her, and she also took care of buying our train tickets. The views were absolutely breathtaking! My knees were definitely having a hard time, but I still managed to enjoy the trip. ❤️

Moose picked us up directly from our hotel, which was so convenient and easy. His driving was incredibly smooth and comfortable—we ended up sleeping like babies on the way! Thank you, Moose, for taking such memorable photos for us and explaining everything so clearly in English. ​Our tour group members were also super sweet and friendly, so we could fully enjoy the peaceful nature without any noise or discomfort. I would love to visit Taiwan again around April when the cherry blossoms are in full bloom! Thank you so much for your great sense of humor and making us laugh throughout the trip. The Alishan trip was absolutely fantastic! 🌟👏 The "Sacred Trees" of Alishan are truly awe-inspiring, having stood for thousands of years. These towering "Sacred Trees" stand silently in the primeval forest, some of these giant red cypress trees are over 2,000 years old, earning them the title of "living history textbooks." We felt as if we had stepped into another world, like a fairyland. We're so grateful to our tour guide, Kai Ge. He was kind and patient, possessing extensive professional knowledge about Alishan's culture, history, flora, and fauna. Along the way, he introduced us to attractions, told historical stories, and helped everyone take photos, adding so much enjoyment to the entire trip. Although it rained heavily and was very foggy, Kai Ge drove very steadily, making us feel safe and secure. He looked after everyone like a big brother from next door, and he worked incredibly hard. Thank you, Kai Ge; it's rare to meet such a dedicated and professional guide. Our Taiwan trip concluded perfectly, and everything was worth it! 👍👍👍

Overall, my experience on Alishan this time was really great 🌿🚂 There was no pressure to rush through the itinerary. Riding the small train slowly through the forest, the scenery along the way was very therapeutic, and the air was incredibly fresh. I felt completely relaxed. The trails were also well-planned, making it comfortable to stop and go as I pleased, perfect for those who want to slow down. Regarding the tour guide, the one we had this time was very friendly and professional. Not only did they provide detailed explanations, but they also proactively guided us to good photo spots and even helped take pictures. This added many positive details to the entire trip and made us feel very at ease.

I was drawn by the inclusion of the forest railway, so I booked a 2-day, 1-night Alishan trip (outbound: car, return: car + train). After the reservation was confirmed, I received information about what to bring and precautions via LINE. Closer to the date, I also received detailed information about the meeting point, driver's name, and vehicle number, which was reassuring. (All in Chinese, but translation software helped.) The documents provided when boarding the shuttle car also included Japanese, which was easy to understand. The guide spoke Chinese, so I needed someone to translate for me, but there was plenty of explanation time during the 2-hour hike. The paths were well-maintained with wooden decks and stone pavements, so even with my limited stamina and in the rain, I was able to walk comfortably. One word of caution: if you use a private car transfer, there's a high risk of motion sickness because the winding mountain roads have significant inclines. Even though I don't usually get car sick, I felt quite ill during the return transfer from Alishan to Fenqihu and wished I had brought motion sickness medication.

Our tour guide Jason was really nice and very accommodating. he made sure we are comfortable and well fed. we were able to see a lot of attractions and was able to do different activities. we enjoyed the short trip to alishan #JasonWolf

A very comfortable and wonderful day! Hotel pick-up and drop-off were extremely convenient, and the itinerary was well-organized. Although the drive from Taichung to Alishan involves a long stretch of winding mountain roads, the driver, Mr. Ren, drove very steadily and reassuringly. The tea-picking experience exceeded expectations; I originally thought it would be mainly about pushing tea sales, but actually the owner and staff of the tea plantation were very warm and attentive with no forced sales at all. They first introduced the process of tea picking and making, took us to tour the workshop, and then let us taste various teas such as black tea and oolong tea, along with some small snacks. The owner himself studied agricultural planting techniques on the mainland for a year in his early years and cares deeply about the tea plantation. The pace of the entire tour was great, and we got to see all the highlights of Alishan. It really saves a lot of hassle compared to arranging transportation on your own. I highly recommend this Alishan day tour to everyone!

had a lot of fun thanks to 大羅! he was really attentive and caring, also helping us snap pictures and recommend food, had a lot of fun! didn’t manage to complete everything in the itinerary due to delay in previous attractions but still really fun!
