Great tour if you'd like to visit 2 flower parks in one day + a coastal Shinto shrine. Hitachi Seaside Park is vast, and the nemophilia field is magical. Ashikaga Flower Park is full of colorful roses. Our guide was very helpful and educational.

Siddique was our driver. He is very professional and took care of us during our trip, and was very patient with our large family needs. We hope to book him again in the future.

Had a great experience overall. The transport service was good, although I was asked to move to another bus and ended up in the last row. The guide was very helpful and communication was clear throughout the trip. My main issue is with the itinerary. The schedule placed the first destination during peak sunny hours, as we reached around 1 PM. However, we left the last destination by 7 PM, just after sunset, so we couldn’t properly enjoy the illumination. Also, the package was advertised as a “Wisteria Season” tour, but there was no wisteria to see. I understand that the season may have already ended, but this should have been updated in the itinerary details. I chose this package mainly because of the wisteria. That said, this is just a recommendation for improvement. I still really enjoyed the trip, especially because the rose garden was so beautiful.

We were not able to catch the wisterias in full bloom anymore but the tour is great. The Nemophila flowers we got to see. So much to see, too little time. We started by 11am but we could hopefully start by 9am so that we would have more time in each location and not feel rushed. No time to eat properly. Took too many pictures. Will definetly go back!

The standard rooms at the hotel are quite small. We booked connecting rooms, and for two people, we felt that this amount of space was much more comfortable. There were no issues with the hotel or the staff's service; both were quite good.

Attend the Great Wisteria Festival

This festival is all about enjoying the stunning wisteria flowers and flowering plants in full bloom, usually from mid-April to mid-May. You can walk under the wisteria canopies, including a famous tunnel that dazzles with purple, blue, and white blossoms.

It's one of the best attractions at the park, but be ready for large crowds since many people come to see it.

Explore the Bejeweled Flower Garden

Don't miss the Bejeweled Flower Garden at the park. It looks like a giant jewelry box made of flowers! You'll find all kinds of different plants arranged in eye-catching displays with bright, seasonal blooms from the eight floral seasons that create amazing patterns. It's open year-round, so there's always something new and beautiful to see in every season.

Relax in the White Garden

The White Garden is a peaceful spot in Ashikaga Flower Park where you'll find beautiful white wisteria and pale flowers. It's super calm and perfect for a visit in early summer or autumn when the garden is especially stunning.

Enjoy the Winter Illumination

Even in winter, Ashikaga Flower Park is magical during its Winter Illumination. The gardens light up with over five million twinkling lights, turning the park into a sparkling wonderland. You can walk through glittering light tunnels and see beautifully lit wisteria trees. This event usually runs from late October through early February.

See the Ancient Wisteria Tree

Make sure to check out the famous wisteria tree while you're there. It's over 150 years old and has huge vines that create a canopy of bright flowers. This awe-inspiring tree is at its most beautiful from April to mid-May when the wisteria is in bloom.
