Things to do in Yarra Valley Chocolaterie & Ice Creamery

We really had so much fun during wine and chocolate tasting. It was definitely a memorable experience because tasted the different kinds of red, white and rosè wines. The chocolates were also good and it will make you feel full! The ice cream is a must try! Thank you to our tour guide (sorry forgot the name 😅).

Elliot was very friendly and a lovely young man. The entire tour was very relaxed, a gourmet trip focused on wine tasting and cheese. The small group of six to eight people was very comfortable. Lunch included a glass of sparkling wine, and light snacks were available for purchase. The restaurant was picturesque, and the food was good. There were also seven to ten types of chocolates to sample, which was a very nice arrangement. Finally, we saw kangaroos; Elliot brought us up close to many of them, and they were adorable. It was a perfect end to the day, and I'm very grateful.

This is a relaxed and casual itinerary. We recommend bringing sunglasses and water. You'll get to taste ten different types of alcohol (excluding gin). The optional lunch restaurant was quite good, and they also sell alcohol, offering many varieties for tasting. For the chocolate tasting, we suggest bringing water with you when you get off the bus! The winery staff and tour guide were all very friendly, making for a pleasant and stress-free day trip.

the tour was amazing, our driver Peter was great, hillarious, and also has a lot of info about the tour. wine tasting was a blast, scenery was beautiful. and the information about the tour, meeting point, bus, etc was very detailed.

one of the best tours I’ve had. Luke was the driver and tour guide. He was highly knowledgeable and fantastic. I wish I had a few more days in Melbourne to book Luke for another tour. The tour (itinerary) itself was amazing and Luke made it even more memorable. I’ll definitely be telling my friends and family about how great the experience was. we started off at the Moonlit Sanctuary and fed wallabies/kangaroos. The highlight was spotting the wild wallaby as we drove to the penguins. The best part was seeing the little penguins come up from the beach and waddle up into the grass. the gift shop was great too. It was a sunny day but definitely windy. the gift shop had great embrodied jumpers and zip ups as well as blankets to purchase. I love the penguin parade. Great thank you to Luke for making it so fun too. We listened to his playlist and he sang.

our guide/driver is Shawn. we had a great time listening and chilling in the small bus. the grp size was 10pax hence good number less waiting. the winery covered was great and we had some good wine and gin (upgraded the tour with addition AUD 10 each). thumbs up for this.

We had a fantastic experience on our Puffing Billy trip, and a big part of that was thanks to our wonderful tour guide, Joe. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and made the whole day enjoyable from start to finish. He made sure everyone was having a great time. We really appreciated his enthusiasm and professionalism. Our tour guide, Rhys, was very punctual, humorous, and great at creating a lively atmosphere. The tour included two wine tastings, a cheese tasting, and a chocolate tasting, with thorough product introductions at each stop. I highly recommend the cheese products.

It was a lovely experience. Our tour guide, Daniel Yang, was very helpful and shared about the sights along the way. He also helped us with taking memorable videos and photos, especially at the Puffing Billy stop. It was a luck day for all of us. We saw 2 kangaroos in one of the vineyards, which was rare! Had a great time at all the places in this tour.
