Things to do in Sindang Station

Visited the Gyeongbokgung Palace with my cousin, and for free Entrance we used the voucher for the Hanbok rental. Didn't regret it, the staff was really nice and helped us with the fitting. I chose a nice simple hairstyle that was free (there were also different one's with a extra fee). And I got a nice pretty bag (usually with a small fee, but for a review I can get it for free) And even though it was hot outside, it didn't affect the experience for us ✨✨✨

Such a worthwhile experience! I had a skin test with the pharmacist, and she was so kind and thorough throughout the whole process. She carefully analyzed my skin and recommended products that were actually suitable for my skin type. I had so many questions because I’ve been concerned about my skin for a long time, but she patiently answered every single one. I finally got a better understanding of my skin and was able to clear up many of the concerns I had. If you’re visiting Korea, I definitely recommend giving this a try! The products in the store are also reasonably priced, and everyone was so friendly and welcoming. Overall, it was such a pleasant and helpful experience. I’m really glad I stopped by!

We had a great experience at Lumiere Perfume Making. It’s a lovely place with excellent staff. Our instructor, Mr. Rei, was very patient, attentive, and truly made the session enjoyable. Overall, the experience was fantastic—we were so happy with how our perfumes turned out that we even upgraded our package. Highly recommended!

Dongdaemun Sparex is the best! It's affordable, clean, spacious, and comfortable. The location is also incredibly easy to find. Dongdaemun Design Plaza is right across the street. You can easily find it by taking the elevator down to the third basement floor of the building. They don't provide shampoo, conditioner, body wash, or scrubbing towels, so it's a good idea to bring your own. If you forget, they sell them at the entrance, which is convenient. For women, mugwort steaming is highly recommended! It costs 2,000 yen. It feels incredibly good and makes you sweat a lot. After that, getting a body scrub is the best! On the fourth basement floor, there's also a food court, a jjimjilbang (Korean sauna), and a relaxation area where you can unwind. Going in the morning is recommended as it's less crowded.

I'm Japanese! This was truly the best experience ever 💛 My husband is very large, so we rented hanbok from another shop and then came to EeHwa Studio for the photoshoot. The hanbok rental shop opened at 8:40 AM, and our photoshoot was scheduled for 9:00 AM, so I checked on Instagram beforehand to see if we might be late. They were very kind and accommodating. Then, after changing into our hanbok, we got lost on the way to the photoshoot location... I was flustered, worried about being late, and whether we'd even be able to do the shoot. My husband was sweating profusely... We were both quite stressed, but the photographer greeted us with such a kind smile. All my anxiety, tension, and worries instantly vanished. The photographer spoke Japanese and gave us various poses with such care, kindness, and fun. My husband is a bit shy, so he was quite apprehensive before the shoot, but the photographer was such a great flatterer! "You're doing so well!" "This looks great! So cool!" In the end, he was really getting into it and enjoying the photoshoot, haha. The finished photos are also wonderful, and I find myself looking at them many times a day. The download process was easy too 😊 I would love to request another photoshoot someday if our family grows 💛 Thank you so much! 🌼

Even with a jam-packed 2 week itinerary, this was one of the things I was most looking forward to, and it definitely lived up to my expectations and more! JiEun was amazing - so kind, patient, and made sure I was comfortable from the start. It was clear how knowledgeable she was, explaining everything thoroughly and being happy to answer any questions I had. After each analysis we went through slideshows of what would be best for me based on my results: hair colour, jewellery, glasses, make-up, fashion, fabrics, patterns, styles and accessories. And then at the end I got to try on some accessories and make-up to see how it all looked in real life! I would 100% recommend both the colour and body shape analysis, especially at the start of your trip as it will be a big help for when you're shopping!
