Rhine Falls tours

Our trip to the Rhine falls fell on a foggy day; however, because our tour guide provided so much valuable local insights not only about the Rhine falls but also about the culture in Switzerland as a whole, it was such an excellent experience. Fortunately for us, though, despite the foggy morning, we were still able to see the Rhine falls in all its glory and our family enjoyed it so much. We definitely would recommend this tour to anyone visiting Zurich.

You will be picked up by a small bus. The actual parking slot will be determined on the day. Entry was actually just 3CHF if you want to DIY. The falls was amazing.

What a place. Must visit as a day tour from Zurich. Do not miss the boat ride for which you pay additional 10chf. Medieval village of Stein Am Rhein was wonderful. We had a great guide Verena. Good transport, on time departure and arrival.

the tour was well organized and easy to find! we just presented our QR codes at the venue as indicated and off we go! the guide explained certain things about Switzerland to us which was great! she was also very clear about how we can navigate when we arrive at Rhine falls. there is an optional boat ride into the falss if you'd like - you will get wet and have to pay additional for it! it can be quite the experience! it is actually easy to get to the falls on your own so if you have a swiss travel pass already and alrd traveling around then you be adept in getting there. I was going with older folks and so it was easier with this tour (which would cost more than u taking the train + purchasing ur own tickets there!) so pick your battles!

Largest waterfall in Europe and a must go place. Definetely recommend to take boat ride, this will take you to the nearest point in waterfall.

Amazing and insightful experience touring the Rhine Falls and Stein am Rhein! Our tour guide, Monica, was great and shared a lot of interesting information throughout the trip. It feels like I learned so much not just about the places we visited but about Switzerland as a whole as well which was great. You will need to pay extra 10 CHF/person to ride the boat at the falls which was a fun experience I'd recommend. Overall, great value for money.

We had a wonderful time on this tour. The meeting point is within walking distance of Zurich HB station, and the tour starts early, leaving your afternoon free (we visited the Lindt chocolate factory after the tour). Our guide, Marcella, was very gracious. She shared a lot of interesting facts about Zurich and Switzerland on the way to Rhine Falls (the drive takes about an hour). The view of the falls is mesmerizing. There's also a 15-minute boat ride available for an additional 10 Swiss Francs if more than 18 people in the group are interested. Fortunately, 25 out of 28 people in our group opted for it. This extra boat ride was a fantastic experience, allowing us to get really close to the falls. After the boat ride, we had plenty of free time, which we used to explore the area, take many photos, and even shop for souvenirs. We also saw a rainbow near the falls. I highly recommend this tour.
