Things to do in Ikebukuro

an absolute must in Japan!! I cannot express how much fun this experience was. everyone is so friendly and ensures everyone is enjoying themselves. our group did participate a lot, our muscle girl Row was sooo sweet and informative about the city as well!! by far the best thing we did in Japan!!

It took us about 5-6 hours to eat and have butterbeer inside the Harry Potter Studio, haha! I saw reviews saying it takes at least 4 hours, and they were right! It was an exhibition worth the price, and my mother, who is in her 60s, also enjoyed it, finding it fascinating and fun to explore~! ☺️ I'm not a huge fan, but I grew up with Harry Potter, so I intentionally added it to my Tokyo itinerary, and I'm so, so glad I did ㅠㅠ💜 It was the Tokyo Harry Potter Studio with incredible historical accuracy and insane detail quality, so much so that it took half a day to see it all..👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

The cafe was so cute. The pigs were so friendly and cuddly. Overall, it was a really cute and comforting experience.

I did this experience back in 2017 and decided to take my younger siblings! They (16M & 19F) loved it! Although the maids spoke mostly Japanese, that didn't stop us from conversing and having a great time. We used Google Translate to talk to Ami-Chan and Ramonette-Chan, they were super friendly and awesome. We all ordered the drink set which came with a drink of our choice (non-alcoholic) and a dessert. The coffee based drinks we ordered came with a customization where we could tell them what to draw on our latte! Everything was really yummy and the maids were super awesome. We all had an amazing time and would recommend. We had reservations at 2pm and it wasn't busy. There was maybe two other tables besides us there.

We had a great time! The teacher was really knowledgeable and helpful. Note the dojo itself doesn't have a sign on the street so just follow the instructions on the confirmation.

Fun experience for kids and adults. Use ink tools and screen tones and either trace an image or make your own. Friendly staff, totally English-okay (and of course Japanese-okay).

An amazing and relaxing experience! The massage included work on the neck which was perfect for recovering from a long flight. There is a makeup room where you can fix your hair or makeup following the massage and continue your day.

What a fantastic experience! We got the opportunity to learn how to make authentic miso ramen and gyoza. Our host spoke excellent English. She and Chef were super friendly and easy to connect with. We didn’t expect this but at the end, we got to make matcha. Personally, I had only had it once but didn’t like it. This was good! We would absolutely take this class again.
