Tuyen our guide is an absolute Superstar. she had the challenge of providing information in English and Vietnamese as our group had a 50/50 split. She gave lots of good info and made sure no one in the group got left behind. The value for the price we paid was quite reasonable considering it was transportation both ways and a very nice 7-8 course authentic Vietnamese family style lunch. note about the Paradise Cave tour: it’s A LOT of stairs to get up to the cave entrance. then once in the cave it’s a lot of steps down then back up. the large boats for Phong Nha c Cave were covered so no real need for hats or sunscreen thankfully. THANK YOU TUYEN for such a great tour!!!

At Dark Cave, we enjoyed zip lining, cave exploration, a mud bath, kayaking, swimming, and fun river activities. The cave itself is completely pitch dark, which makes the experience even more thrilling. They provided life vests and helmets with mounted flashlights, making it safe and easy to explore. The water was crystal clear and a stunning shade of blue, adding to the magical atmosphere. Our guide Mr. King was knowledgeable and experienced, making the adventure both safe & exciting.
We also explored Paradise Cave, which was equally breathtaking in a completely different way. The tour included a buggy ride up to the entrance of the mountain, followed by an incredible cave exploration. The massive formations and beautifully lit interiors were stunning. Our guide Tuyen, also known as Chocolate shared great insights about the region and made the experience more engaging.
The entire tour was organized seamlessly by Phong Nha Discovery Tours. Everything was well managed and professional.

everything good. lunch is cold and stale, no good. 😂 try afternoon tour, at least you catch sunset on boat. 9-11am at my son, so many people... had to run a little to group up again to keep to schedule. because of rice paper and boring lunch, little time at my son. because guide explaination is 60 min. 20 min walking. 20 min dance show. only 2 min left to close your eyes to feel the air and stones... because the other 18 min you have to run and rush to the other 2 sites beside the main one by speed walking. I think. if I could start over, id choose afternoon tour. because morning is so early and I did not have breakfast, so hungry. and rice paper making is a bit boring for my Chinese background plus lunch was 😕 so-so. I think it would be best to take your lunch and wake up late, relax, then do afternoon tour without the other 2 activities and no rushing plus sunset boat ride is way more beautiful... 🙃 than a 1pm ride 😅

This day trip is a must do, genuinely one of the best I have ever been on. The caves are stunning and our guide Trà (Jessica) literally made the trip 10/5 stars for me. She had a good sense of humour, was super professional and informative in making sure our group got the most out of the day, and really went above and beyond to make sure everyone had a good day😊 I would highly, highly recommend both Trà as a guide and this tour to anyone considering it!!

The tour was difficult but everything was okay. He is perfect tour guide for me. Helped me a lot and enjoyed a lot of time. He provided gifts to us and gave it to me and others. I really recommend this tour.

As th soft seater was booked we were given an option to upgrade to sleeper. This was absolutely worth it. It was so clean and tidy even the washrooms were clean. We were personally informed by the train attendant about our station arriving. This was absolutely worth it. A must Try!

My plans changed, and I wanted to change the date of my ride, but I couldn't. I had to cancel the entire booking, and I couldn't even do it through the app, which was very confusing. Also, the voucher took a long time to arrive, which made me anxious. The sleeper car itself was comfortable.
