Easy to use, app is simple and provides good info on train routes etc. A bit pricey at first, but you if you don’t have definite plans and prebooked train tickets months before, will recommend getting this to avoid variable prices.

A rail pass is truly excellent, especially during discount seasons. If your general itinerary is set, a pass valid for several trips within a month is very convenient. Additionally, once you factor in the TGV reservation fee, it's almost the same as the original price, but it's still more cost-effective than booking at the last minute.

I woke up early in the morning and headed to the Montserrat tour meeting point. I met Blanka, our guide from Amigo Tours, and Alex, and we traveled together by bus. Blanka's explanations in English were excellent, making communication easy. I particularly remember her incredibly detailed explanation of the geological history of the Montserrat region in Catalonia during the journey. Since I only booked transportation, I toured the monastery and museum individually. Afterward, we met in the parking lot at 11:45 AM and were dropped off at the original meeting point at 1:00 PM.
