We booked 4D3N trip to Mount Bromo, Mount Ijen, waterfall and snorkeling spot. It was an amazing and adventurous experience for us. Our tour guide, Rizky was very helpful and the driver was skilled and drove safely. We will definitely choose Cheap Bromo Team again and explore other destinations if we visit East Java next time.
Started our journey with our guide Ubay and driver Faizal. Day 1: trekking to the waterfall was an interesting experience with climbing of rocks and crossing of streams. Do take note to wear water booties, if not, risk your slippers floating away or getting cuts from rocks. Day 2: Jeep to Bromo! Paid for an additional horse ride up and down the mountain as it was an experience. Do note, it’s gonna be quite muddy if it rains. Day 3: Snorkeling!! Loved it!! The sea was clear and I even spotted a sea turtle which was amazing. Day 4: To Ijen Crater. The hike up was extremely steep and training will prolly be necessary if you’re not fit. Basically, I died. The trip was pretty packed with activities, all are to be prepared for long car rides and waking up early in the morning at 0030H & 0130H ain’t that fun but it’s worth it I guess. Do note that day 2 & day 4 will be cold up in the mountain. The guide we had was extremely friendly and he was conversant in English. we had no problems communicating with him. He would also help us when we need assistance in certain things. Im glad we had Ubay and Faizal as our guide and driver!!
