Fukuoka Tourist City Pass

Very convenient to use. Go to the airport to exchange for a PASS. Scratch the card according to the date you want to use it. You can travel according to the specified details, including subways, some JR buses, ferries, and discounts at tourist attractions. Convenient and worth it.

Easy to use! You just need to show it to the station and they will just let you pass. We were able to visit different places using this. You just really need to map out your itinerary well to maximize the usage of this pass.

It is a 1-day pass that can be used to travel within Fukuoka and surrounding cities, both near and far from Fukuoka, to see the beauty of tourist attractions, important places on the northern island of Kyushu, as well as famous delicious food spots.

With one card, you can have unlimited rides on the various types of transportation modes, e.g., bus, subway, and JR listed on the back of the card shown in the uploaded photo. This card allows us to move freely from Hakata to Dazaifu, back to Hakata between different subway lines, and by bus to and back to Lalaport from Hakata.

It was easy to redeem the physical passes at the Fukuoka airport. I bought the pink pass for travelling to the dazaifu area, however I do not find it useful, as you need to change many trains to get to dazaifu if use this pass. If you are staying in the hakata area, it would be easier to take the direct bus to dazaifu from Hakata bus terminal which cost 700yen one way. This pass cannot be used for the direct bus mentioned above.

It was okay. It’s kind old-school. You need to use 1 paper coupon for 1 day. The thing is you need to scratch out “date” and “month” correctly. If you missed it here, the coupan will be invalid and cannot be used anymore. It can be used only in Fukuoka city. With this, I travelled to Nanzoin temple I paid for extra fare at the exit gate.

This pass will let you travel places here at Hakata. Highly useful for. Thise who opt to use subways bus as means of transportation. Unlimited rides for 1 day.

It was worth it. Very easy to get around the city with pass. However, if you are planning to go to Dazaifu Tenmangu and Kyushu National Museum, please buy the Pink-Coloured pass.
