What to expect
Lovers of architecture and ancient civilizations will not regret a day tour to the South of Vietnam to visit the My Son Hindu Sanctuary, a cluster of partially ruined temples that have long been abandoned, though once a thriving religious site of the early Champa tribe. Recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the sanctuary features stone sculptures of Hindu deities and towers amid the tropical jungle. History buffs and furniture enthusiasts would also not want to miss the second stop of this day tour - a trip to the Kim Bong Carpentry Village via boat, a traditional yet lively village that boasts of unique carpentry styles and quality products that you could take home as souvenirs! Accompanied by a local English speaking guide, you're sure to discover much about both old and existing communities that play important roles in the development of the country. Enjoy a light lunch as you cruise back to the Nguyen Hoang Pier, from where you can continue the rest of your day's itinerary as you please.

Reviews
With a very friendly and highly professional guide, you will explore ancient heritage sites in depth. After the tour, you can continue your experience in Hoi An Old Town with a boat tour, enjoying a delicious local bánh mì from a popular spot. For your convenience, direct hotel pick-up and drop-off services are provided.
We were picked up from Da Nang for only 200k dong/head. The tour was really infomative thanks to our guide “Philip” he was really kind and approachable. The itinerary was superb — really enjoyed this tour even if it was half day.
generally praise the site's unique historical significance as a well-preserved Cham Kingdom temple complex, highlighting the impressive ruins amidst the lush jungle setting, although some mention the damage caused by war, and recommend going with a knowledgeable guide to fully appreciate the site's rich history; most agree that a half-day trip from Hoi An or Da Nang is ideal, with the option to see a traditional Cham dance performance as part of the tour.
our tour guide Barry is really nice and young, he introduced the history of my son to us, the my son area is not big but you can see many historical sites like 7-12th century ! really worth to go once in your life!
We booked the tour at the end of December. The pick-up from the hotel worked perfectly and the trip to My Son Temple was also good. During the trip, the guide tells you various historical backgrounds about the temple. Unfortunately, our guide didn't speak English very well and you had to concentrate extremely hard to understand anything. The tour itself was very well organized despite the bad weather and is definitely worth it. On the way back to the boat, the driver got a little lost, which wasn't great. Overall, the trip was more than successful and we would book it again.
Klook tour has never failed us. it is highly professional and the departure is on time. The tour guide, Hew (not sure of spelling) is knowledgeable and courteous. Driver is also priorize safety. Amazing trip.
Very interesting place with deep history. Ms Dong was an amazing guide, so knowledgeable. We liked her so much that we booked another tour with her the next day. Great place to learn about Hinduism and the Champa kingdom. Be prepared for lots of rain in the jungle!
Mr Phillip was our guide and we really appreciate him. very knowledgeable, always cheerful and very motivated. he picked us up from our hotel near Old town at 8am and picked up a few other parties before heading to the My Son. he briefed us on the histories on the way, and upon arrival too, around the entire venue. At 11am, we gathered and went back to Hoi An for local lunch, before going for a quick breezy small cruise around Hoi An and drop us back in our hotel.
I choose the afternoon trip but the company texted me and I agreed to change it to morning tour. Mr Ben is so informative and nice. He even helped me to take photos! My son sanctuary is small to compare to angkor wat or prambanan. but worth the visit!! For lunch, I requested no pork. and they are nice to change it to fish instead. boat ride is good too!
Mr. Ben is an amazing tour guide. He shared so much information about My Son sanctuary. He was careful to explain important details. After the sanctuary tour, we watched a cultural show. Then, he brought us to the river for a short cruise and gave us banh mi to enjoy. I am happy I made it to this cruise despite almost not making it because of delayed bus arrival from Hanoi to Hoi An. Thank you very much Mr. Ben!
