Review for: Hoi An Half-Day Classic Walking Tour

Must do in Hoi An! We went to so many amazing temples and learned a lot. Our guide Jackie was so friendly and informative and gave us a lot of recommendations :) we loved this, just a few hours walking around the beautiful town, water provided but as you are in the town plenty of opportunity to buy extra/coffee etc.

My family joined the classic walking tour of old town Hoi An! Our guide, Ms Thuy was very attentive and great at explaining! She took the time to answer all our questions and brought us around in great pace! We learnt so much during this tour and I fell in love with Hoi An! Can’t wait to be back! Thank you, Ms Thuy!

This was a very enjoyable tour around HoiAn old town. Our guide, Emma, shared very interesting information about HoiAn. I recommend this tour to learn about the historic old town area. We walked to the old Japanese bridge, an old home, a temple, walked the market, walked along the water, went to a show. Our guide Emma then recommended a great place for a Banh mi sandwich dinner. This was a wonderful afternoon. Thank you.

Review for: Hoi An Classic Walking Tour

We had participated in this tour after exploring the Hoi An Old Town for the past few days, but this tour was nothing short of interesting, as Jackie was an awesome tour guide, who shared detailed explanations about each heritage building/structure! Joining this tour allowed my family to better appreciate the rich history and cultural significance of the Hoi An Old Town, beyond its beauty. To our pleasant surprise, the tour ended with an Art performance and Vietnamese bingo game, which my family enjoyed :) We also loved that we could use the admission ticket to visit a heritage building of our choice from the map provided, since we had only visited 4 heritage buildings during the tour. Overall, highly recommended to join this tour if you are visiting Hoi An!

The tour guide was knowledgable and did a good job in explaining the history and context of Phuc Kien Assembly Hall, Tan Ky House, Handicrafts and Japanese Bridge which enriched our experience and appreciation for Hoi An. This tour is perfect for those who are keen on learning the culture of Hoi An I would recommend doing this tour in the morning if I could go again - it was way too hot in the afternoon to enjoy it to the full. Prepare sun block and umbrella if you are going in the afternoon!

Highly recommend this trip! Jackie, our tour guide, is the highlight of the trip, who speaks good English without obvious accent (very rare in Viet) She comes from a local fishing village and was raised in Hoi An ancient town, so she knows everything by heart. We received many details not covered by other guides, and a small tour group made possible more interactions. The routine was also nicely planned. If you want to visit Hoi An, plz designate Jackie as your guide.

Kim from the agency contacted us a few days before the tour to update us on a change of the meeting point with a google pin and picture - instructions were very clear. Thuy was a very friendly guide. The itinerary is actually much more than advertised. We visited 5 attractions (assembly hall, temple and museum) with the Old Town ticket included in the tour price and Thuy also brought us to see a silk shop and a local performance. She also showed us some other recommended coffee shops with views and a few other places along the way.

We had a wonderful time with Ms Tin Tin during our first classic walking tour in Hoi an although the weather is killing us but we still enjoying with the information and knowledge shared by her. She is very knowledgeable, experience, caring and helpful. Before end the tour, she recommended and bought us to the fantastic chicken rice for dinner. If have chances to return back to Hoi an, will definitely engage her to be our your guide again. Keep it up!

Jackie was a truly informative guide. We went to 4 places altogether. It’s a pity that the Japanese Bridge is still under construction, but the old house with the Confucius cup was a favourite. Pace of tour is manageable with kids and a stroller.
