Thank you Eric Kim for this great tour! The traveling plan was well and we always had enough time for everything. Also Eric had lots of informations to share, very interesting! he was frindly, helpful and we had lots of Fun! So Gamsamhnida for this great day with an cool group, good food, many many beautiful flowers and an cozy Hanok village!
It was a great experience to see the plum blossoms for the first time. They were beautiful and worth the long drive. The tour itinerary was just nice as we had adequate time to explore and rest. Bus ride was comfortable and our tour guide Roy was informative and he also gave us recommendations to what we should look out for. Thank you for the plum ice-cream! :)
This was such a relaxing tour. Roy, our guide/driver gave short briefs about the places before letting us explore on our own. There's enough time to explore the two places and I personally like that we can roam freely. I was able to make my own perfume and still have time to shop and walk around Jeonju Hanok Village. Overall, it was a fun and chill trip.
this was a great experience. the plum blossom festival was huge and we were amongst all the locals! going to jeonju and eating bibimbap was also a great experience. although tiring this was such a fun day.
Although the journey was long, the plum blossoms were beautiful. Will not see these in home country, so it was worth it. Jeonju Hanok Village was worth the journey too.
Tour was quite fun, though the slopes at gwangyang maehwa festival were quite steep. guide Roy is friendly and nice! gives clear instructions too! the Maesil icecream is a must-have! :)
Leo was a fantastic guide, driving us smoothly to the Gwangyang Maehwa Festival and Jeonju Hanok Village. He shared great insights and made sure we had a comfortable trip. His friendly and accommodating nature made the experience even better. If you need a reliable and knowledgeable guide, we highly recommend Leo!
Went there on 11th March 2024. It was the first day of the Gwangyang Maehwa festival. The flowers just bloom and it was really pretty~ Then we had lots of time at jeonju to enjoy the jeonju hanok village. The tour guide is very nice introducing many good food there~
A full day to Maehwa Village and Jeonju. A bit tiring if you are travelling with kids, need a lot of walking and climbing. Every 2 hours there is a 10 minute break, which is barely enough to change diapers and buy snack. Tes was our guide and he was very patient and helpful. 3 hours in Jeonju is not enough, you need at least 4 hours here.
While the drive from Seoul was long it was definitely worth it. Make sure you dress well for the trip because there is alot of walking up and down hills. The blossom festival wasn't too busy early in the day but after lunch time it became very busy. Getting there early is key. The hanok village was nice and I also toured the palace. The entrance fee was only 3KRW. It shocks me how affordable entrance fees are in Korea compared to the US.
