The Hyatt Regency Yantian is an excellent and comfortable hotel. Every front desk staff member provides attentive, friendly, and thoughtful service, making guests feel right at home. As we were celebrating a birthday, the hotel was able to offer a room upgrade, as well as birthday decorations and a complimentary small cake, which was greatly appreciated! The hotel's breakfast buffet is very extensive, with new dishes introduced daily, keeping guests excited, and the food is delicious. It would be even better if the older chef at the noodle station could improve their politeness and attitude. The light meals offered at the lobby lounge are also quite good, and the staff there are particularly helpful, which is commendable. In summary: The hotel as a whole is outstanding. If there's another promotion, we will definitely return.

The overall experience is great, the room is big and the food in the buffet is marvellous, there are lots of choices and the seafood is delicious! while I would like to complaint about the working efficiency of the housekeeping as the room is still not available when it is 15:45, it is noted that the check-in time is 15:00 so I think the management should deal with it, however, the front desk staff is quite nice.

I booked a room with buffet breakfast and dinner because it was my boyfriend's birthday. When ordering, Klook had already noted this with the hotel, asking them to decorate the room. Facilities: The swimming pool is small and narrow but sufficient for swimming. However, if there are more than 3 people, you'll need to avoid others. The appearance is nice for relaxing. The water depth is 1.2 meters, and there is still sunshine in the afternoon. Gym: Very professional with a large area. There are many pieces of equipment that are relatively new. There is a smaller gym inside that is exclusively for hotel guests 24 hours a day. If there are too many people outside, you can choose to use your hotel room card to enter and work out. There are multiple areas, and many classes are offered every day. Hotel guests can take the classes for free. There is a stretching room and a boxing area. Dining: The breakfast has many varieties and the taste is good. A special item is the freshly wrapped wontons, but the taste is just so-so. Afternoon tea is a Western-style three-tiered stand. The taste is acceptable, but the bottom layer is two pears, which is a strange combination. It would be better to replace them with scones. The drink, hot chocolate, has a lot of milk and only a slight chocolate flavor, which is very different from what you usually drink. It's acceptable. The other drink, mint tea, is delicious.

The hotel is conveniently located near the subway, making transportation easy. There are many restaurants in the adjacent shopping mall. We stayed in a sea-view room with a spacious view. There's a waterfront promenade nearby, perfect for a stroll along the sea. The lighthouse library, though small, is quite stylish. Next to the library, there's a drink shop where you can chat while enjoying the sea view. The sea breeze is quite pleasant. The dinner buffet was also very good.

We stayed for 3 days and 2 nights. For the second night, we chose a mountain view room package (because the children wanted to see the Starry Sea Era show). The hotel upgraded us for free to the same sea view room, which saved us the hassle of moving our luggage. On the morning of the second day, we realized we had to call ourselves to book tickets for the show. After breakfast, I immediately went to the front desk to inquire. Fortunately, staff member Ryan patiently explained everything. It turned out we didn't need to book ourselves; the hotel would make the reservation for us. We just needed to show the text message and our ID. Also, because my Hong Kong phone couldn't receive mainland text messages, Ryan called me to let me know he had already received the message on the hotel's dedicated phone. I just needed to provide the hotel's dedicated phone number to enter. He was truly flexible and resourceful.
