2D1N Ninh Binh and Ha Long Bay Tour with Overnight in Ninh Binh

📍Attractions: In the first day we visited the Hoa Lu old town by riding 15mins of bike, had the lunch buffet nearby, Trang An Landscape and Mua Cave. In the 2nd day we had a trip to Sung Sot Cave, Luon Cave and Ti Top Island by taking a tourist yacht. Every one of above attractions are indescribable amazing! 📍Tour guide: The tour guide in the first day calls Jobs who’s a really funny young guy with a really nice English expression skill. Our 2nd day tour guide is Ken. He’s a great man with a lot of experience in the area of Ha Long bay. 📍Accomodation: During the night in Tam Coc, we stayed in the Tam Coc Little Charm Villa & Bungalow. The staffs was really friendly and professional. The downtown Tam Coc is only 5mins away from the hotel by the bicycle which we could freely borrow it from the hotel. 📍Summary: We really enjoyed the 2 days trip with Cozy tour, strongly recommended! 👍🏼

This combined tour of Ninh Binh and Halong Bay was the best of both worlds. Tbh, I enjoyed Ninh Binh more since there were so much people in Halong Bay that it dampened the experience. Nonetheless, highly recommended especially the included accommodation in Ninh Binh.

This itinerary is a combination of two one-day tours combined by the travel company. The advantage is that you can meet many friends in two days and have many different playing experiences. COZY is a large travel agency in Vietnam. Excellent performance in itinerary planning and arrangement. The tour guide is also very professional and responsible. Worthy of recognition👍The only drawback is that it is impossible to confirm the itinerary with the travel company in advance, there is no company contact information, and there is no main itinerary manager. During the itinerary, I felt uneasy and insecure. But as long as you are at the designated time and place, the tour guide will appear. In addition, the two tour guides in the photo (Frank/the other one I forgot), guided each passenger very carefully and patiently, which is worthy of encouragement👍 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️I will recommend it to my family and friends.

The Itinerary is packed, and well executed! Seamless transfers and amazing views! Like wow! Our tour guide Max is very accomodating with my request given I travelled solo, he took care of me the whole trip, ensuring my enjoyment and safety! Kudos Max! 🙌 A bit of suggestion, if you’re planning to visit during summer, please bring extra clothes and fan as its too humid, sweaty, and a real summer heat struggle. Thanks to the stunning views somehow felt unbothered. All in all, its a must trip to explore Vietnam!

The guides were informative and extremely helpful. Both dinner on the first day and breakfast on the second day were included, and everything was handled smoothly with excellent service.

2 days combined tour was definitely not a god option. It would have been better to book 2 separate 1 day tours. Itinerary was good. Transfers were far too many but very well coordinated.Stay at Tam coc hotel was not satisfactory. Basic like tea, coffee was not provided in the room. Vegetarian options were limited.

The itinerary is handled by two companies, so we will take you from Hanoi to Lulong Bay (2.5hr) on two days respectively. After the second day of the trip, the tour guide will assist in calling a car to go back to the hotel directly from the scenic spot. The next day, you will be directly transferred from the hotel to Halong Bay (3hr). The accommodation part is not bad, and the dinner is also very rich, even a little too much to finish. It is a few simple dishes but not unpalatable. The shower room and toilet are together and there is no dry and wet separation. It's okay for one night. The bed is a double bed for one person. Bihn, the tour guide on the first day, spoke very good English and was very professional; Tim, the tour guide on the second day, did not have that good pronunciation but it was not difficult to understand. The whole itinerary was a bit confusing and at a loss when connecting to other buses. Because there were no clear instructions, we directly boarded a tour bus on the second day of the itinerary without checking my identity carefully. There were thoughts about whether the car would be sold. After the driver arrived, he dropped us directly at the reception desk without any instructions to tell us what to do. Someone in the car would use WhatsApp to ask you where you were. Only when we actually met did we realize that it was a tour guide. He would come to you at the reception desk to join the group. Overall, because the scenery is beautiful and the itinerary is rich, I still recommend it! You can go directly to Lulong Bay and Halong Bay in two days. Don’t think too much about the food. It won’t make you hungry, but it will definitely not be delicious.

The bus arrangement was also not very comfortable. The seats were 2-2 in each row, so it may be uncomfortable for bigger-sized people, especially during the long journey back from Halong Bay. Another issue was that drinking water was not provided on the return bus from Halong Bay, even though it was included in the package. Overall, the tour was just so-so and could be improved, especially in terms of comfort and basic inclusions like drinking water.
