Mari Mari Dive & Lodge, Sepanggar Island (Day Trip)

Overall, it was great. The food and service were excellent. However, it would be better to snorkel from the boat at a deeper location. The island beach has a lot of rocks, trash, and is too shallow. The goats greeting us was a very nice touch.

I left behind a lot of really fun memories! The service was really good, and as long as you know how to speak simple English, you can communicate! Also, the guide was really friendly and left me with many good memories! In particular, once you arrive at the island, you can enjoy your own free time, but I spent about 5 hours leisurely wandering around the island, kayaking, and snorkeling. The rice served was delicious, and the chicken dishes in Kota Kinabalu were delicious~ +If you are going snorkeling or kayaking, bring your swimsuit in advance!!

It's very fun. There are clear instructions after arriving at the pier. There are many activities to choose from on the island. We play paragliders at an additional price. The lunch is delicious!

the place is good to visit. we enjoyed the snorkling despite the sea bottom full of garbage. The local goats have no fear and jump to the table, when you are eating at the beach, funny, but they gonna eat from your plate. Facilites are fot for purpose.

The best family day trip from Kota Kinabalu! Visiting Sepanggar Island with the kids made for an unforgettable day. The snorkeling was amazing, and we saw so many colorful fish. It was the children's first time snorkeling, and they were absolutely thrilled and had a blast! Beyond the ocean, the island's nature is also abundant. We encountered monkeys, goats, monitor lizards, tiger beetles, and kittens, making it feel like a natural zoo. The beach was beautiful, and the whole family was completely satisfied. The only minor downside was that some washed-up trash was a bit noticeable. Other than that, it's a definite 5-star experience! I highly recommend it for families with children 🏝️

The island is very private. There’s enough space to do all the activities you want to. The first thing to see as arriving is a beautiful jetty. But the most precious gem is the team. The musicians played live and Jess - our island guide - provided us with all necessary information and was open for a conversation. She even organised a birthday song for me, as she found out I had my birthday that day. The heavenly atmosphere remind us of the Netflix series “White Lotus”. The food is delicious and the wide range of animal kinds cannot disappoint. I would love to come back once again, but sadly we’re leaving. Definitely worth the money.

I had a lot of concerns about Sapi Island, but my family with infants loved it because the water was shallow, there were no people, and it was peaceful. The water is a bit cloudy, but the food is delicious, it's close (15 minutes away), they're friendly, and you can use the table as much as you want, so it's the best!! no worries

It's so good that I'm planning to go again tomorrow. Great product, highly recommend.

It was nice experience. We were practically alone, there were only guest, who were staying at the island and diving there. Very good lunch.
