This was a day that dreams were made of. Ah Vui and the team ensured that every aspect of our day was just perfect. Hotel pick up was prompt and the transfer to the island was seamless. our group of three were the only visitors on the island. the seafood lunch was devine. Snorkelling was out of this world and we felt like we had the sea to ourselves. If you want to have the most perfect day in paradise then book this trip. Away from the mass of tourists at the Jetty and feeling like you are the most special people in the world. kayaking was a wonderful bonus. 10/10. wouldn’t want to do any other island tour. Worth every penny. memories for life and a very full heart. ❤️
In a group of about 20-30 people, only two of us were Japanese. Most of the participants were Chinese, and the tour was primarily conducted in Chinese. However, our guide made sure to explain things to us in English whenever necessary and constantly looked out for us. The high-speed cruise ship took a little over an hour to reach the island. It was incredibly fast and quite bumpy! 😂 But because the ship was so fast, we didn't even have time to get seasick, which was a plus, haha. The guides played music on board, making the travel time enjoyable. The island facilities were new and clean. Toilets, shower rooms, and even hair dryers were available, ensuring a comfortable stay. Before snorkeling, there was a safety briefing. For the two of us, a staff member provided a one-on-one explanation, showing us translated safety precautions in Japanese. They also checked repeatedly to ensure we understood everything, and we felt that safety was very well-considered. For snorkeling, the boat took us to two different spots. The ocean was truly beautiful and amazing! 🐠 The guides constantly checked on us, ensuring our safety while also making sure we had a great time. After returning to the island, a luxurious meal of crab, shrimp, and other dishes was prepared, and drinks were available freely 🦀🦐. Afterward, we had free time. We relaxed under a parasol on the beach. When it was time, we boarded the super-fast cruise ship again for the return journey. Since it was an early morning tour, we were quite tired by the time we headed back, but it was a fulfilling day nonetheless. My only regret is that I forgot to give a tip to our kind guide when we left. They were so helpful until the very end. Since about 90% of the participants are Chinese, Japanese participants might feel a little uneasy at first if they join alone. However, there were many guides and staff members who paid very close attention to us Japanese participants, so in the end, we had a wonderful time without any worries. The ocean was beautiful, snorkeling was fun, and the food was luxurious. Above all, the warm support from all the staff left a lasting impression. I highly recommend this tour to anyone who might be hesitant because of the small number of Japanese participants! 🌴🐠✨
Paradise Island was very beautiful and clean, and the boat ride was much smoother than expected. Although a few passengers vomited (perhaps because they had just eaten breakfast before boarding), we were grateful that our family felt perfectly fine. There are many facilities on the island, but because we went to Tiga Island for the volcanic mud experience (the volcanic mud experience only lasted ten minutes, but it required a 1 km walk each way, and the return trip was barefoot, which made our feet sore, so I recommend wearing plastic sandals that you don't mind getting dirty), we didn't have enough time to enjoy Paradise Island's facilities or take photos when we returned. It would have been great if the trip could have been extended by half an hour! All the tour guides were very dedicated. When my child accidentally dropped their snorkel while snorkeling, Ah Vui immediately dove to the bottom to retrieve it. Our main guide, James, was also very thoughtful, proactively filming underwater videos for the children and taking care of us throughout the trip. It was a great experience!
Just like its name, I thoroughly enjoyed my journey to this Island. The itinerary was given a day before my tour, and everything went smoothly as planned, from pickup to returning back to my hotel. From amazing food especially the seafood delights to meeting colorful fishes while snorkelling, every moment was pure bliss. The tour guide was exceptionally friendly and helpful, making the entire journey effortless and easy for me. It was my first time experiencing the volcano mud, and I was surprised that I actually liked it! Would love to explore more islands in Sabah, and my experience on White Sand Paradise Island will forever hold significant memories in my life. Highly recommend for fellow adventure seekers and island enthusiasts to come!🏝️💯
I bought Paradise Island on klook, and I was a little curious about the name. On the day I went there, I really understood what the name was, and it really lived up to its reputation. Super VIP itinerary. It's really extraordinary. I went to other islands to compare and felt that they were ordinary and free travel. I came to Paradise Island to experience the true meaning of island itineraries. It's really worth it. I can feel that it's a very thoughtful itinerary. Paradise Island is super beautiful. The sea water was super crystal blue on the day I went there. It's so special to experience volcanic mud. I love it so much. The kayaking in Paradise Island to the boulder sign at the back is very special. The best thing is the rest point, which is like a private resort. It's the first time I touched a little turtle, so cute. The director said that this is a marine reserve, and the marine nature protection is really good. Snorkeling and seeing colorful corals are very unique. The itinerary is 5 stars..
We had a wonderful experience on this snorkeling trip. It was our first time snorkeling, and everything was well organized from start to finish. Our tour guide, Birdy, was friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive throughout the day, making us feel safe and comfortable. The snorkeling spots were beautiful, and we thoroughly enjoyed exploring the marine life and crystal-clear waters. We especially appreciate Birdy’s patience, helpful guidance, and excellent service, which made our first snorkeling experience enjoyable and stress-free. Thank you, Birdy, for making our first snorkeling adventure such a memorable one. We highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Kota Kinabalu. A truly unforgettable experience and one of the highlights of our Sabah trip!
I really enjoyed this trip. we got to see beautiful and colorful fish and corral. The private island after snorkeling was beautiful and the perfect place to relax. The food for the buffet was very tasty and a lot of food is offered. The only downside I saw was the guides had a lot of rules. I have been snorkeling in kk on other organized trips and there were not as many rules.
There are real snakes on Snake Island, and there are swordfish in the sea. Paradise Island is a true paradise. The pink facilities are very girly. The water is very clear, there are many fish, and the underwater ecology is very healthy. The tour guide and other staff took good care of us. The lunch was very rich. There were few people on the island that day. It was very comfortable and enjoyable. Well worth visiting again!
The number of participants isn't as high as at Mermaid Island, so the overall experience is relatively better. White Sand Paradise Island feels like an affordable version of a Maldivian uninhabited island, and the scenery is absolutely beautiful when the weather is good. We didn't go to Snake Island, but we did try the volcanic mud. We learned from the introduction that the volcanic mud area used to be much larger and was reduced to its current size. If you don't like crowds, I highly recommend choosing this island! The only minor drawback was that the car taking us back to the hotel on the return journey was delayed for over 40 minutes for some unknown reason. Luckily, we didn't have any other plans afterward. We also appreciate our tour guide for chatting with us for so long, helping us learn more about Malaysia. 👍
This private island paradise is super beautiful. The whole itinerary is super chill. The seafood dinner at noon is also more than addictive. The experience of volcanic mud bath is very special and the buoyancy is very strong. However, if you want to go play in the volcanic mud, it is best to wear clothes that are not afraid of getting dirty. Swimsuit, because the volcanic mud is difficult to wash off ~ I lost one set immediately after playing.
