Exhibition Introduction
"Detective Conan" TV anime has been on air for 30 years! To express sincere gratitude to all the viewers who have supported the work, the official team has specially planned the [Detective Conan TV Anime 30th Anniversary Exhibition]. This special exhibition will start in Tokyo and tour Japan, with Taipei as its first stop overseas, kicking off a global tour.
This exhibition features a specially drawn 30th-anniversary main visual, bringing together the protagonist Conan Edogawa and 30 characters, creating a spectacular lineup that is full of surprises. The exhibition area is specially designed to cover five professional fields, from the planning stage to theme song production, leading visitors to deeply understand the behind-the-scenes process of anime production, from drawing and coloring, character dynamic presentation to voice acting, fully presenting the birth process of the "Detective Conan" anime. In addition, there is also a selected classic scene display area, showcasing 30 years of highlights at once, allowing visitors to fully experience the charm of the work. Finally, there is a special exhibition area—the Gratitude Theater, an immersive audio-visual feast that will lead everyone to an unexpected world of Conan.
INTRODUCTION
The classic line from the TV anime's opening narration, familiar to all—"Though he looks like a child, his intellect is far beyond that of an ordinary person, Detective Conan." This area will gather 30 years of opening sequences, presenting them completely at once.

Planning
In the process of anime production, everything begins with the planning concept. This area will display precious content such as character design drafts and art setting materials. It will also introduce Professor Aoyama’s persistence and ingenuity in shaping characters, as well as the director’s recommended exciting crime methods.
In addition, the model of the Mouri Detective Agency, made based on actual art materials, is also a highlight not to be missed!

Storyboard
Storyboards are an indispensable and important foundation for constructing an anime story. This area will display actual storyboards used in the TV anime “Detective Conan” on an entire wall. We sincerely invite you to personally experience the shock and charm brought by the vast number of storyboards accumulated over 30 years in this exhibition space.
Animation
"Color and motion" are considered the most critical elements in anime video production, and animation is the production stage that brings these two core elements together. This area will display the process of Conan coming to life frame by frame. Please personally experience the moment when characters gradually get colored from black and white line art and vividly move on the screen.
Voice Acting
Once characters are animated and begin to move, voice acting injects sound and soul into them. This area features an experience zone where you can listen to Conan Edogawa's different emotional expressions of "joy, anger, sorrow, and happiness," and also displays congratulatory messages from voice actors.
Theme Song
The theme song is an indispensable and important element of TV anime. This area focuses on the past theme songs of the TV anime “Detective Conan” and displays CD cover designs and a theme song timeline from over the years.

SP MEMORY SCENE
This area will display classic scenes that are deeply ingrained in people’s hearts, as well as representative famous scenes of the characters. Let’s review those wonderful moments in chronological order since the anime first aired in 1996.

SP Gratitude Theater
Dedicated to all viewers who support the TV anime “Detective Conan,” with gratitude, we present a special video exclusive to this exhibition. We sincerely invite you to experience and enjoy the original story that can only be seen at this exhibition.

NEXT CONAN'S HINT
This area will introduce the content of "NEXT CONAN'S HINT" broadcast over the years, and also reveal the behind-the-scenes footage of the special video for this exhibition, allowing us to review the production process from the birth to the completion of the TV anime.

I'm truly touched that the Detective Conan anime has been with me for 30 years 🥰. Seeing so many intricate animation details in the exhibition area really made us gasp in awe ✨️. There were also paper models of the 'Mouri Detective Agency,' 'Professor Agasa's House,' and 'Kudo's House' 🏠. So that's what the interiors look like! I really love the bookshelf in the Kudo house 📚🥰. 🌟 [Voice Actor Dubbing 🎙] When I saw Ran's voice actress, Ms. Wakana Yamazaki 🩷, my eyes welled up with tears 🥺. Thank you, Sensei, for accompanying Conan and growing up with us 🫶. We will always love you 🥰❤️. 🌟 We spent a long time watching the [Past Theme Songs 🎶]! We wanted to just sit on the floor and enjoy them properly 🌸 (but we stood obediently). We even discussed how Conan has dancing in some of his OPs 🕺. Conan actually dances really well ✨️, even though he's tone-deaf! 😆 🌟 [Exclusive Thank You Theater 📽] It's rare to see everyone gathered together like that ❣️. I really loved this celebratory surprise 🎉🎉🎉. Everyone holding their 'self-colored roses 🌹' was truly beautiful! 🥰
The exhibition was great, but once you're in, you can't leave. There are no restrooms inside. I asked if I could use the restroom right after entering and was told that if I left, I couldn't re-enter. That's really unfair. Most of the exhibition didn't allow photos, only three specific spots. The content was very rich; Conan fans should definitely go.
Online ticket booking is really convenient. There are a lot of people on-site, so remember to book online before you go! You can probably spend two to three hours browsing and looking around. Most areas inside the exhibition hall do not allow photography, but you can take pictures of the character figures. You can take photos of the standees in the merchandise area, but no video recording is allowed.
You can book your admission in advance, so there won't be crowds when you enter. The videos and image explanations are very detailed. A good animation truly requires the hard work of many people to complete.
If you're a fan of Detective Conan, you absolutely must go. It's very worthwhile. In addition to showcasing the illustration and animation processes, there's also an exhibition of songs from over the years, even though there aren't many places where you can take photos.
To think, the Detective Conan anime has been airing for 30 years. It's a series I've watched since childhood, full of cherished memories and nostalgia. It's definitely worth a visit.
Visiting the Detective Conan 30th Anniversary Exhibition felt like stepping into the world of mystery. Whether you're a long-time fan or a new viewer, everyone can find their own surprises and moving moments at the exhibition.

This special exhibition will tour various locations within Japan, starting in Tokyo, and will then begin its international tour with Taipei as the first stop.
I absolutely loved this exhibition! Seeing Conan's journey and all the finished products was amazing. The only thing I wasn't too fond of was having to make a reservation to enter even after buying a ticket. It would be more convenient and time-saving if we could make the reservation when purchasing the ticket. Just my personal opinion, but overall, I really enjoyed it! 💕
There's a lot to see at the venue, but there are only 3 character statues available for photos. The merchandise is super abundant and complete! 😍 There are both Taiwanese and Japanese versions, and all the pins and cards are blind-box items. I was unlucky and couldn't get Kid-sama 😭, especially from the card machine; I drew over 10 cards and still didn't get him 😤.
