Kaohsiung Museum of Fine Arts Special Exhibition "Michael Craig-Martin: Everyday. Decoded"
A mobile phone, a pair of headphones, a chair—seemingly ordinary everyday objects—are transformed under the brush of artist Michael Craig-Martin into a visual language woven from vibrant colors and clean lines, redefining the way we see the world. This exhibition is Craig-Martin's first major solo show in Taiwan, co-curated by the Kaohsiung Museum of Fine Arts and the artist's team. It comprehensively presents his creative journey of over 50 years, bringing together classic works, outdoor sculptures, digital creations, and new works to be unveiled for the first time in 2026, leading audiences to deeply explore how this important figure in British contemporary art has profoundly influenced global art development.
