Reviews
I hope to be friends with this teacher, and I believe we can become popular together.
This is one of the best cooking classes I've attended while on travel. Renee the instructor, runs the Masala Medley Cooking Class with her mother, and I have to hand it to them, they're doing fantastic work. The location is good, it's quite accessible (though we just took Grab there, it's walking distance from my hotel in KLCC). The place is super clean, bright and beautiful. You can tell Renee takes a lot of care to maintain the place and keep everything clean and spotless. You won't have any concerns over hygiene. Renee is very patient with us. We are from Hong Kong where most of us tend to eat more bland foods than Indian cuisine, but Renee is able to adjust the recipes to our taste and I have to say that the food cooked (even for an amateur like me) was incredibly delicious, you will love the masala chai tea. Prepare to have lots of food to take away (the food lasted us for 4 meals and we went on an empty stomach) All in all, I highly recommend this cooking class!
We were able to find the cooking school easily and without getting lost. The interior was tastefully decorated. We were the only two customers. We made vegetable tempura, curry, dessert, and masala tea. The English explanations were easy to understand, and all the dishes were delicious. We made a lot, so we took the leftovers back to our hotel and ate them there. They were still delicious even when cold.
Such a cool experience! Renee is a fantastic host and teacher! We learned so much and had lots of fun while cooking with her!
