The meet up place is in Fukuoka Central Post Office but the bus was actually park in the next building. Our Group is composed of English, Chinese and Korean groups and there were 3 tour guides in our bus. All the places we visited were so nice. I find the time allotted for each itinerary is limited. So it will be a challenge to go around the whole place for those people with mobility issue. Also, reminder to bring Cash when you go yo Yufuin, a lot of them especially the streetfood vendors, accepts only cash. We walked all the way to a 711 store there to withdraw cash 😅 which eats a lot of our time. Btw, our tour guides sends us recommendations on the places we visited and it is helpful. our guide recommended to try the Hinagoten Soy sauce Ice cream- and it was sooo good! it tasted like Cheese Ice cream 🤯
Ngl, I only booked this tour because the AOT statue and museum in Hita was included in the itinerary lol. It's quite hard to go to these places on your own unless you're driving a private car. I heard that you can hire a taxi in Hita for 13k yen to take you to the said places, but doing this tour is way way cheaper and you also get to go to Yufuin! We were guided by Mr. Park and Yusuke throughout the tour and they're so funny and informative!
I highly recommend the bus tour!!^^ Our main goal for the bus tour was the Attack on Titan Museum, and we also wanted to visit Yufuin and Hita. We kept searching for a bus tour that included these locations and found one just two days before our departure from Japan! We booked it right away~ haha. Although the itinerary might feel a bit packed, we didn't hesitate to book because we loved that the tour covered Yufuin, Hita, the Attack on Titan Museum, and even a dam~ We traveled with tourists from various countries, which was a unique experience~ There were guides fluent in English, Chinese, and Korean, and a Korean guide also accompanied us!! Especially Guide Seina!! And Guide Hwang Sook-young!! Thanks to them, we had a very fulfilling tour. They provided a list of popular restaurants, as well as recommendations for local hidden gems and unique shops, which we found very helpful during our trip!! We were so grateful that they constantly looked out for us, in case we couldn't find something or had trouble ordering haha. We traveled with our elementary school-aged children~ If you're considering a bus tour with your children, I highly recommend it!!
Review from a Hong Konger: Although the schedule was a bit tight, overall it was pretty good! We started by spending 30 minutes at "Kamado Jigoku" (500 yen admission per person) to see 3 "hells." Then we went to Yufuin town for about 2 hours to have lunch and explore on our own (I ate at an unagi restaurant recommended by the guide). After gathering, we drove for another hour to the Attack on Titan Dam (but only stayed for 15 minutes, so you have to make the most of your time for photos!). Then we went to the Attack on Titan Museum/Brewery (the group split into two for separate tours, about half an hour each). After that, surprisingly, there was an extra stop at Mameda-machi to try soy sauce ice cream (we stayed for about 30 minutes)! As for the guides, both of them were very nice. I saw one guide buy miso from the soy sauce ice cream shop in Mameda-machi, so I asked to try it and ended up buying some too 😂 The only thing to note is that you must be on time for every meeting (at each location). The day before the tour, they will send you an email, so remember to join the group chat where they will announce meeting times and locations, and recommend local delicacies!
this klook tour is the best one for me yet as a solo traveller! i love how organize the team are with their itinerary and even gave us recommendations where to go and eat during the self guided, not alot of crowds only 5 of us in the van. kudos for yusuke for driving safe and fast! and pony for being a cool, friendly tour guide they really did well! firstly, i chose the hearts bus station and to my surprise the decomacca is beside it so i took a quick breakfast. for the trip, it doesn't feel tiring bc the itinerary is good. i love it so much they made my stay here in fukuoka memorable! i also love yusuke-kun's music choices, P.S i know people really love to be quiet but i like that we were very interactive during the whole tour. see you again guys! thank you pony for the gift as well!
I really loved the tour section — it was very worthwhile, especially the Attack on Titan museum and the dam visit. If I had gone there by myself, it would have cost me much more time and money to reach those places. The best part was that the guide kept sharing recommendations on the best foods and highlighting the most interesting parts of each attraction.
I participated in the 4/3/2026 tour. The 24-year-old Korean guide was handsome/cheerful/polite. The new Chinese assistant guide was very friendly and eager to help. We were able to go to every location! When we went to Beppu, we were able to have a guide who could speak English, Chinese, and Korean come out and demonstrate the chemical reactions of the hot springs in a very lively and interesting way! Hita City was holding the Attack on Titan event, so there were many related signs to take pictures with. The dam was originally slightly inferior, but it turned out that the giant statue was placed there by the people themselves, and it was not actively promoted by the government. I really liked the Attack on Titan museum and wished I could stay longer! I could have stayed for at least another 30-45 minutes. The atmosphere in Yufuin was also very good. The list of recommended restaurants provided by the Korean guide was excellent, but unfortunately, Mount Yufu was covered by clouds. The only thing missing was a bit of good weather since it rained.
The guide was very nice as he spoke both English and Korean. The female manager or boss was also nice as she offered me an umbrella when it started snowing. We covered a lot of ground as the day started at 8 and we go back around 6. All the sites were decent, I opted for the Attack on Titan dam and museum. This is the only tour that I know that covers this area as it is impossible for me to get to these areas without a tour bus. I wish we had a bit more time on the Attack on Titan museum but we did cover a lot of places and we also hit traffic which probably reduced our time. For the money and value, this is a good experience and I recommend it. The guides offered a lot of good suggestions on places to eat during and after the trip. Thank you for a memorable and easy trip. FYI bring some cash as you will need 500 yen to get into Beppu location and the attack on titan museum.
This was my first trip with friends to Fukuoka, and I booked the Yufuin bus tour on Klook after searching for it. First of all, I liked that it efficiently visited famous tourist attractions in Fukuoka, and I also liked that at the end of the tour, I could choose between the Sapporo Beer Factory and the Attack on Titan Exhibition Hall to visit. My friends and I chose to see Attack on Titan, and we were satisfied. Above all, the guide was kind enough to lead us from the first meeting place, and while traveling by bus, he wittily explained the tourist attractions and provided detailed information about restaurants in the tourist areas and even restaurants in the center of Fukuoka, which helped us enjoy the trip even more! He was fluent in three languages, so he re-explained and communicated with people from other countries. I would like to use it again because of the guide's meticulousness. Thank you so much, guide Bae Tae Kwon! Everyone, please try it.
Our tour guide/driver was Yusuke. he was an awaresome guide. 1st stop Beppu Kamado Jigoku. Its famous for the amazing hot springs (onsens). 2hr drive from Fukuoka in the Kyushu Oita Prefecture. Such a beautiful area and finding out more about the hot springs. Next stop was Mamedamachi Shopping street lots of food stalls, restaurants and local stalls. Definitely enjoyed eating way too much food at the different stalls. Last stop was visiting the Sapporo beer factory in the (Kyushu hita). It was good unfortunately no free beer but did enjoy buying a beer and enjoying the view. Great tour. Next door to the beer is the Attack on the Titan museum. From the popular Manga books. great tour highly recommend to do it 😀
