A great museum to visit. Located up in the mountain but an escalator is provided for easy access. I think the museum will still improve as the halls are still very spacious. Moreover, a beautiful sakura spot is nearby.
After a brief visit to Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine, I toured the museum. It was less crowded, and the entire space, harmonized in black, felt very calming. I particularly enjoyed the detailed 8K tea bowl experience, and being able to actually touch a dotaku (bronze bell) and ring it. There was also a scent corner. While viewing the exhibits was educational, the interactive, technology-driven sections were truly innovative. The price was also reasonable. I thoroughly enjoyed my visit.
Love immersing into the culture of Japan. Admission's pretty smooth. A highly recommended stop.
Don't be fooled by how small the museum seems at first since it is all on the same venue and space. It is absolutely enormous since it has many sub-rooms also. It took me a out 2.5 hours to browse through all of it on detail. The descriptions and translations are also great. The only downside is that the venue is hard to access.
It’s very convenient. You don’t have to queue up. You can enter directly using QRCODE. It’s very convenient. You don’t need to queue up. You can enter directly using QRCODE. It’s very convenient. You don’t need to queue up. You can enter directly using QRCODE.
Kyushu occupies an important position in Japanese history and has rich cultural heritage. There are many places worth seeing in the museum, and the ticket price is relatively cheap. It is highly recommended to visit here and it is cost-effective to go with Tenman Jingu Shrine.
It’s very easy to visit. It’s very close to Dazaifu. There are many different kinds of exhibits.
The museum itself is great, but it's located behind Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine, so there's a lot of walking to do, but it's still worth a visit
