What to expect
Explore the exclusive Okohua Glowworm Cave on private family land, in a small group of no more than six guests. This is a physically active experience where you climb over limestone rocks, swim short sections, see natural cave formations, and float on tubes beneath thousands of glowworms as you make your way through the cave.
There are no paths or platforms. You move through the cave itself, guided at a steady pace.
A reasonable level of fitness and confidence in deep or moving water is recommended.
After the cave, return to the surface for a hot shower and a soak in cedar hot tubs overlooking scenic farmland. A well-earned finish.

This is the ONLY Waitomo Cave experience you should do! It's adventurous, educational and most of all, fun. This is seriously the only way to see the glow worms and experience the cave. We had the best time with Ollie, so much so that we are planning our trip back to New Zealand with friends to experience this adventure again!
