Reviews
This was my first time boat diving, but the instructor was very patient and attentive, making this overseas scuba experience a great one!
Scuba was fun in Kota Kinabalu. It wasn't about the Philippines, but there were many jellyfish in January, and I could see Stingray. Lester was very friendly, worked very hard to find us, and helped us to have a happy trip. Parasailing on Gaya Island was really happy as it approached the world. The view of Gaya Island from high above the sky was very beautiful and beautiful.
The weather was not good that day, with rain and big waves, and the speedboat was thin. As a result, the group members' clothes and pants were all wet during the journey. When we arrived at the first diving place, the water was very turbid and we couldn't see anything, so we could only learn skills; In the second diving place, due to the deeper diving, although the water is still turbid, you can still see some fish, which is a bit rewarding. Because a group member was accidentally injured (not related to diving), it was commendable to see the instructor perform first aid professionally and attentively. Generally speaking, this day is not suitable for beginners to dive, and it is recommended to tighten the weather standards for activities.
Very friendly instructor detailed instructions and 10-minute boat ride very easy. After diving, you can slowly relax and play on the beach until 2:30. I went back and took a lot of beautiful photos. The sea is very clear. I really recommend it.
I would like to thank our instructor Siang, who is very patient and taking good care of us throughout the diving session. The visibility was not so clear due to the rain a night before our diving day, with his professional guidance, we are able to overcome our fear in the deep water, and able to see turtle and cutterfish, which was hardly noticeable without his guidance.
Have had a very great day and saw corals of different colors and shapes, and clown fish and other aquatic life. Most importantly, I would like to express my sincere gratitude to Vivi from Sea Tango for taking care of my daughter and ensuring her safety during the snorkeling activity, and also for showing her the various aquatic life (they saw a few baby sharks). Chris the driver (sent by the tour company) is also very very professional as well. Thank you for providing us a wonderful and memorable experience on that day!
Great experience, highly recommended if you have never dived before / are looking to take your PADI license in the future. This activity can give you an idea of what to expect. Shout out to our guide and instructor, Lester. He was very helpful and friendly, patiently guiding us during the whole 2 diving sessions. Total dive time was around 2 hrs, depending on how long your oxygen lasts Thanks alot to the team for providing an excellent experience
The pick-up time was booked very early, but after arriving at Jessel Pier, it took 50 minutes for the diving team to show up, which was a bit long. After boarding the ship, we will conduct teaching + test diving on Sabi Island for about 40 minutes, go to Gaya Island to eat delicious Chinese food, then dive deep in the sea off Sabi Island for about 30 minutes, and then return to Hong Kong. The instructors speak very good Chinese, are professional in teaching and are very patient. With two instructors leading three students, there is no need to worry about the situation underwater.
This activity staff was great. By the way, the day before, the local staff of the snorkeling activity who participated in KKday reservations were shivering while guiding... Somehow, they want to come out from the local youth group and play with tourists. It was the first time I said something like that, but what is this? Having experienced the scuba diving staff, this is STAFF... Professional and serious. Kindness without hiccups. PADI staff who are not rushed, calm and trustworthy. It seems that the STAFF quality is not different because the program is different from the previous day (in this program, snorkeling was mixed among the people on the boat). It seems to be a real difference in staff.
Good experience! I love this day tour, very easy to plan your trip in klook.
