I've enjoyed onsens in Taiwan and this one takes one of the top spots for my favorite places. The view from the public bath was beautiful and serene. It has tea and coffee, the products you can use after bathing are of great quality too. My only concern was for some reason, the water from the showers only produced hot water even after turning the knob to cold. The jet pools are perfect. Overall a great experience.

I came to the public bath on a weekday and it's so quiet and nice. On the day I visited, only Taiwanese people were in the baths. The staff are very friendly... The receptionists speak excellent English, and when I wasn't sure where to go in the bath area, a staff member came over and used a translator to guide me. They were truly kind. I was a bit worried after reading other reviews, but it was really great. For those using the public bath, just show your Klook voucher at reception, get your key, go down the stairs, and the women's bath is on the left and the men's bath is on the right (written in Korean). You can enter accordingly. Like a Korean sauna, you put your shoes in the locker corresponding to your key number, come in, undress in a locker, put on a gown and a hair cap, then come to the public bath area, shower, and then enter the bath. They asked us to remove our makeup before entering if we were wearing any! (Let's be polite Koreans and follow this rule, haha.) But honestly, there's no need to wear makeup when going to a hot spring. Cell phones are prohibited inside the bath! You can use them in the resting area. And the water is super soft, it feels like it's good for your skin.

September 5, 2026. This is a family-style hot spring inn, so it's not recommended for those with high expectations! The hot spring water is very comfortable and leaves your skin feeling smooth. Basic amenities are provided. The couple's set meal was delicious and very filling. There aren't many parking spaces directly in front, but there are parking spots available nearby.

One of the highlights of my Taiwan trip was visiting Wulai. It’s a beautiful spot and perfect for anyone looking for a quick escape from city life. The hot spring experience was especially memorable, as it was my first time trying an onsen. The facilities were excellent, and it was nice to see locals in the bathhouse who seemed to already know each other, it gave the place a warm, community feel. Although none of the staff were proficient in English, they still made sure I was well taken care of. What made the experience even better was the free meal after the bath and the complimentary shuttle back to the town proper. Overall, it was a relaxing and worthwhile experience, and I would definitely come back on my next visit to Taiwan.

Great private onsen experience, the room was spacious with amazing view. only drawback is the distance from the town, however a private shuttle can be arranged (100NT one way).

Εξαιρετικά χαριτωμένο και διασκεδαστικό. Είναι σχεδόν σαν τρενάκι του λούνα παρκ για παιδιά. Σου προσφέρει μια ωραία θέα των καταρρακτών και του ποταμού, καθώς και της γύρω φύσης που είναι διάσπαρτη ανάμεσα σε κάποιους κατοίκους. Είναι μια ωραία βόλτα. Κινήθηκε όμορφα.

We made a last-minute decision to visit that day. After calling to confirm availability, we smoothly boarded the shuttle, and everything went perfectly. We chose the Yinglin room, and the Atayal tribal house theme was absolutely stunning; it was even more beautiful in person than in the photos. The staff on-site meticulously explained all the important details, and the front desk personnel were very professional and friendly. The entire experience was excellent. Afterward, we could enjoy tea and snacks, then head to the bookstore to stretch. There's also the Wulai Old Street to explore. Highly recommended!

Το τουριστικό γραφείο με ενημέρωσε ότι δεν υπήρχαν αρκετοί αγγλόφωνοι που είχαν κλείσει για την εκδρομή, οπότε θα ενωνόμασταν με την κινεζόφωνη ομάδα. Ο κ. Eric, ο οδηγός μας, ήταν πολύ αξιέπαινος και εξυπηρετικός! Ήταν πραγματικά βοηθητικός και προσπάθησε πολύ να εξηγήσει τα πάντα στα αγγλικά. Σας ευχαριστώ για αυτή την υπέροχη και χαλαρωτική εμπειρία! Η περιήγησή μας αποτελούνταν από έξι άτομα, οπότε ήταν πολύ μικρή και εύκολη για μετακίνηση με ένα μίνιβαν. Η πόλη που επισκεφτήκαμε στην εκδρομή στο βουνό Wulai ήταν πολύ ήσυχη και όχι πολυσύχναστη όπως άλλες εκδρομές που έχω κάνει στην Ταϊπέι. Ο ξεναγός ήταν πολύ ευγενικός και κατατοπιστικός.
