Πράγματα που μπορείτε να κάνετε στο Θεματικό πάρκο ESCAPE, Penang

Κάναμε μια υπέροχη μισοήμερη εκδρομή στο Balik Pulau! Ο ξεναγός μας, ο CC, ήταν εξαιρετικά προσεκτικός και πολύ γνώστης της κληρονομιάς. Ξεκίνησε παρουσιάζοντάς μας το bedak sejuk (δροσερή πούδρα), μια παράδοση περιποίησης δέρματος της Πενάνγκ αιώνων – ένα τόσο μοναδικό πολιτιστικό κόσμημα! Στη συνέχεια απολαύσαμε νόστιμα Τηγανητά Πλατιά Νουντλς (Char Hor Fun) σε ένα τοπικό μαγαζί στο Balik Pulau. Αν και το εργοστάσιο Belacan ήταν κλειστό, ο CC αφιέρωσε χρόνο να μας εξηγήσει λεπτομερώς όλη τη διαδικασία παρασκευής του belacan. Μοιράστηκε επίσης συναρπαστικές πληροφορίες στο Εργοστάσιο Μοσχοκάρυδου, στο Φεστιβάλ Τέχνης με Κοντέινερ, και ολοκλήρωσε την εμπειρία με μια γευσιγνωσία νόστιμου ντούριαν. Η εξήγησή του για τον σχεδιασμό και τη λειτουργικότητα του σπιτιού Malay Kampong ήταν ένα πραγματικό αποκορύφωμα. Συνιστώ ανεπιφύλακτα τον CC!

It was raining heavily in the morning, but we were able to enter the facility. It's reassuring to have an umbrella when visiting the butterfly area. Inside, there are many indoor insect exhibits, so you can enjoy yourself even if it's raining. We spent a leisurely three hours exploring. There's also a restaurant, and the pasta and Malay dishes were delicious. There weren't any drinks available for children, so I recommend bringing your own beverages. There were no vending machines inside the facility. My child was thrilled to see and touch both taxidermied and live insects. The rain stopped partway through, and we were able to enjoy the butterflies in the butterfly garden. If it's raining, the butterflies tend to rest, so I recommend visiting the indoor exhibits first. The Entopia original T-shirt was cute, so I bought it as a souvenir. We had a wonderful time. Experience: Excellent

We had a wonderful morning with Ken. She brought us to a nutmeg plantation, a belacan shop, the container murals in a padi field and we also tried crispy hor fun, asam laksa, belacan chicken and white nutmeg juice. Along the way she regaled us with interesting tidbits about the places we were visiting. The final destination was Pulau Bentong where we took pictures on an infinity staircase overlooking the sea. Well worth the time to see the other side of Penang 👏

I visited Tropical Spice Garden, Entopia, and ESCAPE. All three facilities were large-scale and offered wonderful experiences. It was my first time using Klook, and even when I couldn't communicate well, showing the voucher made entry smooth at all locations. I think it's very convenient for purchasing tickets. Ease of redemption: Excellent

After receiving the QR code from Klook, exit the mountain train and head toward The Habitat. This QR code can be scanned at the entrance for the forest walk. However, if anyone wants to watch the sunset at the 7:30 PM session, an additional fee of 18 Ringgit per person is required, and you will receive a yellow lanyard to wear. You can take photos for as long as you like. At the end, a guide will lead the walk back because it gets dark. Those interested in watching the sunset are recommended to bring a small flashlight.

We enjoyed our guided tour with Rana who is knowledgeable about fruit trees he introduced to us and we enjoyed eating the different fruits besides the juice and fruits package we bought via Klook. Overall a fun tour but beware can be very hot and mosquitoes too. Also you can request the ticketing office to help book taxi to leave the place as we are near to closing time at 5:15 pm.

Η διαδρομή είναι αρκετά απαιτητική, ειδικά αφού πολλοί τουρίστες έρχονται σήμερα. Συνολικά, είναι καλό να το βλέπεις, αν και είμαι κάπως απογοητευμένος με ορισμένα σημεία που δεν είναι ακόμα έτοιμα για τους επισκέπτες. Ίσως ο χάρτης να είναι μπερδεμένος, δεν ξέρω.

Such a great trip. A must do activity. Eddie was one of the best guides we have had. Perfect timing. Learnt lots. Scenery great. Stops spaced well and lots of variety. Only negative was didn't get a confirmation the night before but did get an email early morning of. Would highly recommend this day trip.
