I recently stayed at Ahyu Hotel in Malaysia for a short trip, and it was a mixed bag. The location is fantastic – you're surrounded by tons of restaurants, fast-food spots, and cozy cafes, making it super easy to grab a bite anytime without venturing far. It's perfect if you love exploring local eats on foot.
That said, the moment I entered my room, I was hit with a quite unpleasant smell that lingered throughout my stay. It was off-putting and made the space feel less inviting, despite the decent cleanliness otherwise.
Nonetheless, it was nice to stay here overall. The staff were friendly, the bed was comfortable, and the value for money was solid given the prime spot. I'd return if they freshen up the rooms, but it's a good budget option for location-driven travelers.

I had a wonderful stay at this place. The unit was very clean and well-maintained, which made it very comfortable throughout my stay. The location is excellent — the monorail station is just within walking distance, so it was very easy to move around the city.
One of the best parts of staying here was the beautiful view of Merdeka 118. Waking up to that stunning view was truly a memorable experience.
Highly recommended for anyone looking for a clean, convenient, and scenic place to stay!

Booked the king room with tower view and honestly the best decision ever. Got to see both kl tower and klcc from our room. The huge bathtub overlooking the skyhigh view is priceless. Got a birthday surprise from the hotel as well. 9/10 recommended
