Chongqing Hongyadong (Northwest Gate) tours

Great experience! However, take note that this tour doesn't have tour guide, you're only going with a local driver with a translation device and those joining the tour. The driver will just bring to your destination and will tell you when and where will be the pick up time and location. You and your your team will be on your own most of the time. The driver will ask you to join other tour groups in some attractions, he will give you all the information you need. There were only 5 people in our team. They're all Chinese and speak only Mandarin, except for the little girl who speaks English. They're all very nice and lovely people. I'm currently learning Mandarin, so I did enjoy my time with them. This is a very long tour, so you might not be able to finish everything. The driver will tell ask you anyway if you still want to proceed. They all stopped at one point. For me, I decided to go to one more location.

Sanxingdui and the Panda Base are really great, the pandas are so cute! As for the guides, both Ah Can, the leader from Chongqing, and Xiao Luo, the leader from Chengdu, were very responsible and the service was really great.

Great experience, nice attractions and immersive tour. Our guide - Sally is very She was very accommodating and helpful, even though she was a Mandarin-speaking tour guide. She spoke in English to communicate with us.

I was informed to have change the iterinary to have an English guide. But I prefer the one listed in Klook because it quite far from what I am staying ended up to join Chinese tourists. It was still OK since the driver is willing help me with the instructions and ended up well.

We had a splendid day touring Chongqing with Mr. Fu! He was incredibly accommodating and made sure we understood as much as possible about every place we visited. He spoke good basic English and used a translation app when needed, making communication easy and enjoyable. He drove us safely to every attraction and gave us plenty of time to explore without feeling rushed. One highlight was the delicious local meal at a restaurant he recommended—it was authentic and absolutely scrumptious. Mr. Fu also went out of his way to help us book the night river cruise and ensured we arrived on time to enjoy the spectacular light display. His thoughtfulness, professionalism, and warm hospitality made our trip truly memorable. We highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Chongqing. It's not an exaggeration, I'm very satisfied~~1. The tour bus is spacious (two plus one large seat in each row) and the driver has good driving skills.2. The tour guide is very considerate and experienced. He fine-tuned the itinerary according to the time. The most important part of the "guided tour" was very good throughout the whole process (I listened carefully for three days). Thank you for letting our group of 19 tourists from all over the world learn a lot while traveling thousands of miles. I am really grateful and satisfied (I love my tour guide-Tan Ping. Good value for money. The tour included all the must-see tourist spots and a river cruise in Chongqing. The downside was a bit rush. The tour guide can only speak Mandarin and foreigners would need to use their own gadgets or get help from the other participants who can speak English. But overall, it was a very good experience.
