It wasn't the ideal time to visit the coast in December, as it had been raining, and the weather wasn’t very favorable. If you plan to go, be sure to come prepared with a raincoat and an umbrella. The raincoats available at Yehliu are affordable and made of good quality material, so I highly recommend purchasing one to stay comfortable. Our group was small and intimate, just six of us, which made the experience feel more personal and enjoyable. I especially appreciated the company, as it really enhanced the trip. Our tour guide, Allan, was fantastic—he took lots of great photos and shared them with us, ensuring we captured all the memories. The timing for each activity was perfect, allowing us to fully enjoy everything without feeling rushed. The tour ended at Raohe Market, which is conveniently located just a short walk from the train station, making it easy to continue your journey back to the hotel

Great tour overall and definitely recommended. Our guide was friendly, attentive, and made a real effort, and the drive felt very safe and smooth. Since it’s a one-day tour, time in Alishan is limited—you’ll see the main highlights (train station, short train ride, and an easy walking route), but no longer hikes. If you only have one day, this is a great and convenient way to experience Alishan.

We came unprepared without raincoats and it was raining almost 80% of the time during those days. Still, the experience and memories from this trip were wonderful. It was tiring, but truly unforgettable. The falls were beautiful, and the old streets felt alive. I had hoped to see Jiufen at night, but even in daylight some lanterns and lights were already on, so we still got to enjoy the charm of the place. Hopefully next time the weather will be clearer so we can explore more of the shops and souvenirs. Special thanks to our tour guide, Ms. Ruby, who made sure we saw the highlights, tried the local food, and even helped us whenever we felt confused especially with the language barrier. Overall, it was a wonderful trip.

This was a self-guided tour, so there was no tour guide, but overall it was a great experience! The itinerary was clear and easy to follow, and each stop was enjoyable. Everything was organized well, making it convenient to explore with plenty of time each place. I would definitely recommend this tour my family and friends.

What truly made the experience exceptional was our tour guide, Victor. He was knowledgeable, friendly, and incredibly passionate about the city. Victor shared fascinating history, local stories, and helpful tips that really brought each location to life. He was also very attentive and made sure everyone was comfortable and enjoying the tour. This tour is a fantastic way to experience Kaohsiung in one day, especially with a guide like Victor. Highly recommended!

Very picturesque, beautiful spots along the coast. Arthur was a great guide, friendly and running back and forth to make sure we all knew where to go. There was an accident that caused a major traffic jam when we were trying to get to our first destination, which could have ruined the day. Luckily fo us, Arthur and the company adapted the schedule so we still had enough time at each location.

With this bus, even if you live in Taipei, you can enjoy a round trip to Sun Moon Lake in one day. It's really convenient! You can leisurely depart from Taipei HSR Station in the morning, then transfer to this one-day tour bus downstairs at Taichung HSR Station, and arrive at the incredibly beautiful Sun Moon Lake around 11 AM! Along the way, there's a lovely shopping center where you can quickly use the restroom, buy some ice cream and souvenirs before continuing your journey. The weather was great on the day we departed, and the lake views at Sun Moon Lake are truly therapeutic. Spending over 3 hours here was quite sufficient; you can take a boat tour to Yidashao Old Street and explore at your own pace. After leaving Sun Moon Lake, on the way back, we also visited Nina Chocolate Castle to feed capybaras, and next door there's the Instagrammable cafe "Sangxin Lab" where you can enjoy snacks and coffee, and the Paper Dome. The itinerary was incredibly rich! Finally, we returned to Taichung HSR Station around 6:30 PM, and were back in Taipei by just after 7 PM. Exploring Sun Moon Lake this way is truly relaxing! You don't have to worry about traffic jams or finding parking at all. Highly recommend!
