Convenient and quick way to purchase tickets, also accepts Culture Coins. No need to exchange for physical tickets, simply scan the QR code at the entrance to enter the museum. An amazing museum, the exhibits, displays, overall architecture, and environment are all meticulously designed. Truly a worthwhile and great value destination.

Looks like there are 3 different parking lots. It's a super sunny and hot walk to the museum. It's so bright you can barely open your eyes for photos 😂. The museum has 4 halls included in the general admission ticket of $200. I've always loved the animal hall the most. I took my 5-year-old and 1-year-old sons. I pulled up the Chimei Museum website on my phone, and at the bottom of each hall's page, there are some pictures of must-see items that you can show the kids to find. I told him if he found all 20 items, he could get a star when we got home (we have a reward point system at home). The AC inside is a bit strong, so I recommend bringing a light jacket. There's an Italian restaurant, a cafe, a 7-11, and a Starbucks inside. The 7-11 has three rows of tables, maybe about 20-some seats. Not a lot, so you might have to wait or take your food somewhere else to eat. However, you can't drink water or eat food in the exhibit areas. So the worst case scenario is you might have to stand and eat or go outside. The volunteers/staff are all amazing and full of knowledge. 👍

The grounds are extensive, and the exhibits at the history museum are very well-presented. It connects with what you learn and expands your historical knowledge.

Charlie Lee is a professional tour guide. He is proficient in English, Manderin and Taiwanese. In addition, he has profound knowledge in history, religion , and even philosophy. He was very patient with my three naughty boys. He not only explained the history behind every cultural sites in great detail, he also helped look after my kids, paying attention to my kids' safety. Without him as our tour guide, this fun and eductional trip wouldn't have been possible. Thank you Mr. Lee, for this unforgettable trip.

Highly recommend KAKU coach!! His serious, meticulous, detailed, and professional explanations and safety instructions benefited our whole family, adults and children alike. It was the first time for my two sons to try SUP and surfing, and they immediately got the hang of it, greatly increasing their sense of accomplishment. They kept saying surfing is so much fun! Coupled with the sky and waves of Yuguang Island's Crescent Bay, we deeply felt that this trip to Yuguang Island was very worthwhile and we didn't regret coming! Thank you, KAKU coach. We'll come find you again when we visit Anping, Tainan in the future! Highly recommended for all beginners and water sports enthusiasts!

The tickets aren't cheap, but the facilities inside are great. The cafe is very photogenic, and the drum performances are fantastic. The kids had a great time.

The museum boasts a rich and diverse collection of facilities, including many items not found in other museums. Admission is free for children under 7. Our children, ages 10 and 6, were initially reluctant to visit a museum, but they ended up enjoying looking at many exhibits and had a great time.

Buy and use anytime, super convenient. Cruising on the lake is very pleasant. But it's still too hot in the fall 🥵, I recommend coming again in the winter.
