Things to do in Leshan Giant Buddha

We had a great experience with our guide, Yuan Juan. She was friendly, knowledgeable, and very organised, making the trip smooth and enjoyable for everyone. There were no shopping stops, so we could fully focus on sightseeing and enjoying the beautiful scenery. She also shared interesting history and stories about both sites and helped everyone take nice photos. As it is a long travel journey, I would recommend upgrading to the first-class bus for a more comfortable ride. Having a WeChat account is also helpful for easier communication with the local guide and pick-up driver. The weather at Mt Emei can be unpredictable, so it is best to go well prepared.

there will send you the details after you book and the pickup location (for us is just outside our hotel). need the take multiple buses and also pay additional fees (about 255RMB per person) for fees not included. overall good experience but be prepared to climb some stairs at emeishan

We joined a one-day tour to Mount Emei and Leshan and had a great experience. Our guide, Xiao Yang (小楊), was very friendly and helpful. She advised us to buy raincoats in the morning as rain was expected at Mount Emei. Luckily we followed her advice, and it really helped when it started raining on the mountain. She also helped us get the senior citizen ticket discount and refunded the difference to us, which we really appreciated. The trip is quite physically demanding, but with her guidance and assistance we managed well and truly enjoyed the experience.

Wan, the tour guide, is very kind. The itinerary is great, and he accompanied us the whole way. 10/10 Thumbs up! 👍🏻
