Things to do in Villa del Balbianello

This is a tour that my family and I will never forget! From the breathtaking views of Lake Como to the charm of Bellagio and the elegance of Lugano, every moment felt truly special. The itinerary was perfectly planned, relaxed yet enriching, and allowed us to enjoy each destination to the fullest. Our tour guide Mario was great, explaining each attraction carefully and making recommendations. The weather was great that day, so the photos we took on the boat tour were beautiful.

Lina (our guide) was fabulous! She not only introduced some history the buildings and places we passed by, she also taught us a number of Italian words and made us practice it. I also liked that she ensures we showed our appreciation to our driver, Mario each time we got off the bus. It was a lovely tour, we didn’t get to go to Lugano this time and the company shortened the trip by 30-45min. I wish we had kept to the original time so that we’d have more time to wander around in Como town and Bellagio. We had about 45min in Como and barely 30min after grabbing lunch in Bellagio. I guess as Lina taught us, it is “arrivederci Como!”

It was a very eventful day trip. rafael and team took care of us very well and shared a lot of information. I enjoyed myself very well.

10/15/2025 was a great experience. It was easy to get to from Milan Central Station, with clear signs indicating the bus stop. The driver was good and punctual. The guide, Josephine, provided excellent explanations of the different locations and was very helpful in answering other questions with kindness. ♥️♥️♥️

Arrive at the meeting point on time for departure. There are many buses at the meeting point, so pay attention and ask which bus it is to avoid missing it. The tour guide provided a brief explanation of each attraction along the way, and the time allotted was sufficient for a quick look. I recommend this tour as it's very convenient and easy! We encountered traffic on Saturday night, so the return trip took longer. If you plan to book, you might want to avoid weekends.

A very chill itinerary with two boat rides. The lake is calm, so seasickness shouldn't be a problem. Highly recommended.
