The location is truly excellent. After exiting Hongdae Station Exit 1 (which has an escalator), you can reach the hotel within a three-minute walk. There are many shops nearby for browsing and dining, and convenience stores and chain coffee shops are also readily available, making it incredibly convenient. The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful, and the lounge area is beautifully decorated. While the room itself isn't large, the view from the window is fantastic, offering both a lively streetscape and a clear blue sky. The bath products smell lovely and are very comfortable to use. I highly recommend this hotel for first-time visitors to Seoul who are on a budget, and I would consider booking it again.

This was my first time staying here, and it turned out to be an absolute success. The Airport Limousine bus stop for bus 6015 is right in front of the hotel. Euljiro 4-ga Station on Subway Line 2 is just a short walk away, and local bus stops are also nearby. Jungbu Market and Gwangjang Market are within walking distance, and there is an e-Mart on the first floor of the hotel. Our twin room had plenty of space to open our suitcases easily, and it featured a bathtub with a shower curtain. Water pressure was great, and toilet paper can be flushed. The sink is located in the room rather than the bathroom, complete with a large mirror and a vanity chair. The closet was also very convenient to use. The TV is wall-mounted and has smartphone connectivity. The refrigerator is a bit small, but a 2-liter bottled water can fit if placed diagonally. My only minor wish is for a hand towel ring near the sink. Many of the front desk staff seemed to speak Japanese, and they were happy to hold our luggage. While it is not a brand-new hotel, it was very clean. I will definitely stay here again.

Glad Mapo Hotel is conveniently located. You can take the AREX line, and there are elevators all the way to Exit 9, which leads directly to the hotel. There's also a 7-Eleven upstairs, which is handy for buying things. The Jumbo Twin Room is spacious enough to open two suitcases without any problem. Gongdeok Station connects to four different subway lines, making it quick and easy to get anywhere. Highly recommended!

Don't go if you're not planning to be out all night. The music and noise of the city doesn't stop till 7 AM. Super convenient location and I didn't have to worry about how I would get home.

Great location and a wonderful property with excellent value for money! The staff were fantastic, especially Pepe at reception, who really made our stay special. The only minor improvements we’d suggest are a faster elevator and better ventilation in the bathrooms, as there was a bit of an odor at times even through the corridor. Overall, we highly recommend this place and would definitely stay again!

About a five-minute walk from the Hongdae shopping area, this hostel offers a quiet retreat in a bustling neighborhood. It attracts a younger crowd and features a communal kitchen and a spacious lounge area perfect for evening chats. The rooms are on the smaller side, and housekeeping services are not provided during your stay; you'll need to return used towels and pick up fresh ones yourself.

This is my second time staying here. It's a beautiful hotel with a bathtub, and the location is great, close to Dongdaemun History & Culture Park Station. Although it says Exit 14, the stairs are steep, so if you have a lot of luggage, it's easier to exit from Exit 1, turn left, enter the DDP building, and proceed until you see a GS convenience store. From there, you can turn left and take the elevator or escalator up, or go straight without turning and take the escalator. The front desk is on the 14th floor. When I asked them to hold my luggage, they kept it on the first floor, and I was able to pick it up there. The refrigerator has bottled water, and there's also a water dispenser on the guest room floors. The hotel staff are kind and speak good Japanese, so I think even those who don't speak Korean can stay with peace of mind. They also held my luggage on the first floor after check-in while I was sightseeing. This is my favorite hotel, so I'd like to use it again! :)
