Okinawa Prefecture Paddleboarding

This was a fantastic experience on Ishigaki Island. The location is very close to the city center, making transportation extremely convenient and saving a lot of travel time. While it might not be the most budget-friendly option, the overall service definitely makes up for it. Originally, I planned to try SUP, but because I had too many belongings, I decided last minute to switch to kayaking. It was my first time kayaking, and I was a bit worried, but it turned out to be very stable, and even beginners can easily handle it. I especially want to commend our instructor, Sota. He was incredibly enthusiastic and talkative, patiently and warmly assisting participants throughout the entire experience, which made everyone feel very comfortable. Most importantly, his English communication was perfectly fine, making it very friendly for foreign tourists, so there's no need to worry about communication issues. Paddling through the mangroves felt very peaceful and relaxing, and Sota even proactively helped take photos, capturing this unique experience.

Today’s weather was not good, but our tour guide, Buzz tried his best to teach us how to play canoe and the knowledge about mangroves. The scenery was beautiful, the tour was definitely worth to join. Overall, we enjoyed the experience very much😃

It was even more beautiful than I imagined! The sunset was absolutely stunning, and I think it will be an unforgettable memory. Our guide (MoMo) was also incredibly kind, which made the whole experience enjoyable! I traveled alone on foot, and everything went smoothly. There were also many couples, so I think this experience would be a great fit for anyone, regardless of how they're traveling. I'll definitely come back again! Thank you!

Coach Shuto Mine was very enthusiastic, and the atmosphere was full of energy. Even though it was my first time kayaking, I quickly understood and got the hang of it after the coach's explanation. Paddling out of the bay, I was captivated by the stunning scenery.

It was a fantastic experience! The instructor guided my child the entire time, and we saw sea turtles, clownfish, starfish, coral reefs, and countless tropical fish. The Blue Grotto was absolutely stunning. I highly recommend choosing 3 Piece; they are a professional and friendly team.

We visited as a group of five, and four of us participated in SUP. One person was concerned about swimming and only joined for the transfer, but the staff's service was very polite and reassuring. Our flight was delayed, but they kindly adjusted the time for us, which we truly appreciate. The SUP experience itself was enjoyable with thorough instruction, and we were very satisfied to receive many wonderful photos and videos. Thank you for a fantastic time! We made some great memories in Miyakojima!

Experiencing SUP in the mangrove jungle in Miyakojima—an area not even shown on Google Maps—was absolutely one of the best experiences of our trip. As a family with no prior SUP experience, we were quite nervous at first, but Ken made everything incredibly easy and enjoyable from booking all the way through to the end of the experience. Ken gave clear, patient, and beginner-friendly instructions, and he took exceptional care of our children (a 5th grader and a 1st-year middle school student). Our younger child struggled with paddling at first, but Ken kindly connected him to his own paddleboard so he could fully enjoy the experience. It must have taken a lot of effort on his part, but he handled everything with amazing professionalism, energy, and kindness. He also took plenty of great photos for us, helping us capture unforgettable memories. We can’t recommend this experience enough—especially for beginners. If you are visiting Miyakojima, this is an absolute must-do. Thank you Ken!

One of the highlights of my trip to Miyakojima! Ken was incredibly responsive, friendly, and patient throughout the entire experience. Since it was my first time trying SUP, he explained everything in detail, started slowly, and gave helpful tips that made me feel comfortable enough to try standing! The area we were in was perfect for beginners and probably advanced riders too! The water was clear and we even spotted a stingray, which made the experience even more memorable. I’ve visited Miyakojima several times, and it can be hard to find high-quality excursions with English speaking guides, so this experience stood out even more. I did the tour solo and felt completely comfortable the entire time. Ken also took amazing photos that I’ll treasure from my trip. I would absolutely recommend this to anyone visiting Miyakojima. I’ll definitely be back for another excursion!
