Things to do in Sintra

Had a great time today! The tour was fun, smooth, and well-organized. Our tour guide, Emilio, was very friendly and incredibly informative. I tried his recommendations and they were really good — it made the experience even more memorable. Definitely worth booking!

Amazing experience! Maria, our tour lead, was outstanding. She made sure we got the most out of Sintra—we had coffee and pastries at an amazing café, took a breezy walk up to Palácio da Quinta, and then she dropped us off at Pena Palace, where we enjoyed the surroundings before starting our tour. The pit stop at Guincho Beach was exciting—we experienced strong winds! Next, we went to Cascais, where Maria gave excellent lunch recommendations. We opted for a chicken dish, and omg, it was so, so good! We had plenty of time to explore Cascais and truly had an amazing day guided by Maria Alfama. Could not recommend her enough!

We had the best time at Sintra!! Savio, Miguel, Luis were an amazing tourist guide team. Savio was our main guide and he had the most wonderful sense of humor - intelligent, funny and so engaging, from the literary background of locations, secret society trivia, reference to Dante’s Inferno and more! I would love to be on all of his tours. :)

Camilla is a very nice and helpful tour guide. We didn’t buy the entrance ticket for Quinta Regeira and Pena Palace, she is very nice to advice us to purchase the Pena Palace park exterior ticket to visit the Pena Palace. Thanks to her and we were grateful that we bought the park ticket and didn’t miss the wonderful view of Pena Palace. We also didn’t buy the lunch and she is nice to recommend us the restaurants. She takes a good care of us and other guests. Not to forget the driver ( sorry for forgetting his name) also awesome. Both Camilla and the driver did a good job! Definitely worth 5 stars.

George was a fantastic guide! He was very well informed and communicative. The van ride was comfortable and everything was prompt and professionally handled. I highly recommend this tour over doing it yourself. The convenience and detailed information allow you to enjoy your experience more fully.

Well worth a visit. There is no need to buy a ticket to the Palace itself as you can see a lot of the palace with a general Park admission ticket.

Part of the area was under renovation when I visited. Overall, it's really beautiful, a bit like the Great Wall. Be careful when walking, as there are no handrails here. However, it's a great spot for taking photos! It can get very windy sometimes, so be careful your hat doesn't blow away!
