We had a wonderful day visiting Wuzhen thanks to our local guide, Ms Sun. From the moment we arrived, she shared fascinating stories about the town’s rich history, culture, and traditions, making every corner come alive. Her warm personality, patience, and attention to detail ensured that our trip was smooth, enjoyable, and memorable. She was always happy to answer questions and recommended excellent spots for photos and local delicacies. Wuzhen is beautiful on its own, but her knowledge and enthusiasm made the experience truly special. The tour guide didn't seem to have a very good grasp of the group, possibly due to some individuals being difficult to manage, which led to people being late or getting off the bus and immediately getting lost. Personally, I think Wuzhen's West Scenic Zone is truly beautiful at night. During the day, it might be better to find a shop, sit down, and wait for nightfall. Overall, it was a very comfortable experience.

Perhaps due to the rain, the tour guide arrived a bit late. Afterward, we walked quite a long distance with umbrellas before getting on the tour bus. The Humble Administrator's Garden was very crowded. Lunch was a simple buffet, and one dish was spoiled. Wuzhen is incredibly beautiful; if I were to go again, I would choose to stay there for a night.

The Wuzhen-Nanxun day trip was fantastic! In the morning, we explored Wuzhen, with its white walls, flowing water, and leisurely sculling boats, creating a picturesque and refined atmosphere. The various snacks were delicious. In the afternoon, we arrived in Nanxun, a more down-to-earth ancient town with a vibrant, lived-in feel, and old houses that exuded a sense of history. The two ancient towns had distinct styles: Wuzhen was elegant and chic, while Nanxun was rustic and relaxed. The pace of the itinerary was just right, allowing us to experience two different water town landscapes in one day. It was a fulfilling and comfortable experience, and our guide was very responsible. Highly recommended!

There are many exhibitions to visit in Dongzha, and in Xizha, you can take a cruise and go shopping. There are a lot of people taking the boat, making the trip worthwhile. Especially around 7 p.m., the night view is even more beautiful and the photo-taking effect is better. Sitting by the river and watching the boatman rowing the boat slowly drifting on the river is very pleasant and relaxing.

Despite I get the 10:00-12:00 ticket but managed to enter at 12:15pm. For kids below 120cm is free of charge no ticket needed. If you intend to visit East Gate as well, promo ticket is available at the counter for RMB190 on both West and East which is RMB70 discount per adult. In park shuttle ride is available for RMB10 per ride if you are not staying in the park. For long distance bus to Shanghai/Suzhou/Hangzhou, ticket kiosk is at the opposite of tourist center.
