Gary ist ein sehr sachkundiger Führer, er weiß alles über den Lebensraum Wald. Er führte uns zu einer Familie wilder Kängurus und zeigte uns drei Koalas auf demselben Baum. Er wies uns auf verschiedene Vogelarten hin. Wir genossen auch einen perfekten Morgenkaffee mit netten neuen Freunden an einem sonnigen Tag. Wir wanderten durch den Nationalpark und sahen den Wasserfall ohne Schwierigkeiten.

Diese Ganztagestour hat ein dichtes Programm, ist aber so gut getaktet, dass wir uns nie gehetzt fühlten und jeden Halt in vollen Zügen genossen haben. Unser Fahrer/Reiseleiter muss nebenbei Radiomoderator sein, denn er hat uns die ganze Fahrt über mit faszinierenden Fakten unterhalten – selbst wenn man einnickt, wacht man klüger wieder auf! Er hat auch Überschallohren und Laseraugen, um Wildtiere zu entdecken, und sorgte dafür, dass wir alles sahen, wofür wir gekommen waren. Sehr empfehlenswert!

Tania was a wonderful guide. She made an effort to get to know each member of our group. Her commentary was very thorough—besides introducing us to the glowworms, she also shared a lot about the forest ecosystem. Along the way, we even spotted some small animals and enjoyed a beautiful starry sky.

We took this tour with our 8-year-old child, and we were deeply impressed by the professionalism and attentiveness of our guide and driver, Michael. From the pre-trip email confirming the hotel and pickup time to his punctual arrival, the service was impeccable. Along the way, Michael kindly provided explanations and took us to the Glow Worm conservation center. Unlike fireflies in Taiwan, these glow worms are tiny, and entering the cave felt like being immersed in a vast starry sky—it was both magnificent and beautiful. Afterward, we went to Eagle Heights for a panoramic view of the Gold Coast, then headed to a stargazing spot to witness a stunning sunset. What touched us most was Michael's thoughtfulness. He prepared mats for us to lie on while we rested and ate. The dinner was simple yet incredibly delicious. Our child loved the Australian sausages so much that he ate four! I also really enjoyed the sparkling white wine, and when Michael noticed, he enthusiastically took a photo of the bottle for me, making it easier for me to find it again when I return to Taiwan. The starry sky that night was unbelievably beautiful. Through a powerful telescope, as grand as a utility pole, we clearly saw Jupiter and numerous star clusters, and we were even able to take photos with our phones. Michael's explanation of the constellations was easy to understand, and our child learned a lot. This was a peaceful and surprising nature trip, and I sincerely recommend it to anyone who loves nature and stargazing.

Our hotel pickup in Gold Coast was at 3:40 AM. After visiting several hotels, we drove for about 40 minutes, then had a 20-minute restroom and tea break, followed by another 10-minute drive to the hot air balloon launch site. It was still dark. As soon as we boarded the basket, we ascended quickly, rising high into the sky. At first, I was very scared, but I gradually got used to it and was able to see animals like sheep and kangaroos. I was also happy that they took many photos for us. It was a wonderful experience!

Eine sehr erholsame Reise, Reiseleiter Terry hat alle sehr effizient geführt, das Personal des Weinguts war auch sehr professionell und das Mittagessen war köstlich. Es ist eine perfekte Reise für Weinliebhaber.
