Hotels in Hakodate

The room was very clean, and I highly recommend using the razor and bathrobe provided. The shower products were also very comfortable to use! The location is very close to Hakodate Station, just upstairs, so if you're taking a train, allow 10 minutes. I also highly recommend eating breakfast; the meal is diverse and plentiful, it's a shame not to eat it😆

Overall, I was satisfied with all aspects of the hotel, but it was difficult to find initially. It wasn't far, but there was no sign at all to indicate the hotel's location. Other hotels have very large signs, making it easy to spot your destination at a glance. However, this hotel was like playing hide-and-seek for a first-timer, knowing you're close but still getting lost. I had to show the navigation to passersby before I finally found it. But once you know where it is, it's very easy to access. I question the hotel's promotional policy. Is this a way to differentiate themselves? Ignoring the inconvenience of customers... The shuttle bus is great. However, customers should be informed in advance that booking a paid bus to see the night view during peak times should be done along with selecting the hotel. The meals and customer service were very good. It's a little disappointing that only Japanese and English are spoken... Above all, I liked that the room had a window that could be opened. Overall, I would give it a perfect score if the location and bus reservations were advertised in advance.

From a distance away, it’s easy to locate Tokyu Stay as it’s facing the sea side with a prominent sign that could be seen from a distance. While the car park was not operated by the hotel, it’s located just besides the hotel. Check in was quick with the front desk staff explaining on how to exit the car park with the hotel parking coupon. The room we’ve booked is the corner room which provides sufficient room for our family of three. We’re assigned a room facing the sea, giving us a scenic view of the Hakodate bay. One of the strengths of the Tokyu Stay chain is it’s in-room washing machine which allows us to pack lesser for our 2.5 weeks trip. The seafood market is right next door providing a convenient place for breakfast choice. Komeda at the far end of the road is another good choice. The onsen at the top floor while small, serves its purpose adequately and the lounge a floor down, provides a nice place to chill out while admiring the magnificent Hakodate city.

Nach meiner Reise in Otaru habe ich direkt den JR Hokuto Expresszug genommen und gegen 19:00 Uhr eingecheckt. Dieses tolle Hotel sollte ich beim nächsten Mal früher genießen. Besonders gut gefallen hat mir die Aussicht aus dem Zimmer und der E-Bike-Verleih nach dem Auschecken war perfekt, um die Gegend um Hakodate zu erkunden. Beim nächsten Mal komme ich mit dem Flugzeug von Incheon nach Hakodate zurück.

I was planning a trip to Hakodate and looked at several accommodations before deciding on this one, and I was very satisfied with the result. First of all, the breakfast was really delicious. The room is very spacious. You can cook simple meals. The ocean view was a bit far away, but it was still wonderful. And there was a large public bath, which I used very well every morning and night.

A high-quality, elegant, and beautifully situated Hakodate onsen hotel! I especially loved the buffet breakfast and dinner drinks here; you must try them! The open-air bath is on the 12th-floor rooftop, facing the sea. It's especially wonderful when it's snowing heavily; soaking your body in the warm spring water feels first-class!

Das Hotel befindet sich direkt rechts, wenn man den Bahnhof Hakodate verlässt. Die Lage ist dank Lawson und Lucky Pierrot direkt nebenan sehr günstig. Das im Preis inbegriffene Frühstück ist ebenfalls sehr angenehm. Manchmal gibt es anstelle von Reis auch Onigiri. Angesichts der Tatsache, dass es kostenlos ist, ist es sehr zufriedenstellend. Das Zimmer war auch sauber und komfortabel.

The Hakodate Bay view is close to the main tourist attractions of Hakodate and not far from Jr Hokkaido station, making it easy to get around (walking distance). The rooms are comfortable, the onsen is wonderful, the breakfast is high quality, and the sashimi is unlimited.
