I was very satisfied with my stay here for 2 nights in Aomori. This is the second time I've stayed at a Dormy Inn since the one in Ikebukuro, and overall the facilities were newer. The onsen (hot spring bath) and free massage chairs, late-night ramen and ice cream, and yogurt in the morning were the best services. The staff were very friendly, and there was apple juice and a coffee machine near the front desk, so it was nice to be able to come and go and drink during the provided times. There were also a variety of amenities and the onsen was clean and had an outdoor bath, so it was great to soak in the hot water in the cold air. If I had to pick a downside, it's about an 8-10 minute walk from Aomori Station, so it might be a bit inconvenient if you have a suitcase, but it was fine for us. I would recommend it to anyone and if I have the opportunity to come again, I will definitely stay here again.

Connected to the station and also to the malls. Convenient and accessible. No issue with booking when checking in. The room is as advertised in the photos and the breakfast spread was incredible too.

This is my second time visiting Aomori, and I chose Daiwa Roynet Hotel again. Firstly, there aren't many hotel options here, and secondly, this chain guarantees quality.
As with other hotels in the series, the rooms are quite large and the bathrooms are very clean. The location is also excellent, with a convenience store downstairs and a cafe across the street. It's also just a few minutes' walk to JR Aomori Station, which is great.
Plus, the shopping mall at Aomori Station has been renovated, adding more places to browse. Highly recommended!!!

Aufgrund des schlechten Wetters konnten wir nicht mit der Seilbahn (Hakkoda) hochfahren. Frau Sakurada fuhr uns trotzdem dorthin, um nachzusehen (zumindest die Station 😂). Zuerst waren wir enttäuscht, aber das änderte sich nach der Oirase-Stream-Route. Sie ist wunderschön! Unterwegs war nicht viel los (vielleicht wegen des leicht schlechten Wetters). Wir haben am Towada-See zu Mittag gegessen, die Zeit zum Erkunden hängt davon ab, wie schnell man fertig ist! Wir haben es geschafft, den Towada-Schrein zu besuchen und haben uns auf der Tour amüsiert! Das Fahren auf der verschneiten Strecke ist wirklich keine leichte Aufgabe, wir sind froh, dass wir die Tour gebucht haben!

Anscheinend war es der erste Tag mit starkem Schneefall an unserem Reisetag, so dass wir nicht viel sehen konnten. Aber Nakamura-san fuhr uns trotzdem zum Lamp No Yado Onsen, was der Höhepunkt unserer Reise war. Die schneebedeckten Berge sind so wunderschön, und Nakamura-san... Was soll ich sagen? So geschickt und ruhig den ganzen Tag. Es muss so schwer sein, an einem verschneiten Tag zu fahren, denn auf unserem Weg sahen wir viele Autos, die Unfälle hatten, und in jeder Situation hielt sie an und half. Wir waren so beeindruckt. Sie ist eine der besten Fahrerinnen und Reiseleiterinnen in Japan, schätze ich. Vielen Dank, Nakamura-san! Es war wirklich eine unvergessliche Reise!
